I got this plant two days ago, but I couldn't talk to the shop owner because of some language barriers.
Today, I noticed some of the leaves are getting spots, and one leaf that was really yellow and droopy turned black after I watered it this morning. I'm not sure what to do about it 😔
That black leaf & bare stem that has yellowing leaves on the end is leading me to think that it is rotting. I would hold off on the watering and check the roots as soon as you can!
As for the temp, ideally I would say mid 70s to make it comfortable for both of you, but 65-70 wont hurt it. MAYBE just slow growth a little bit
More info - I live in MA and it is currently 27F. I set my AC to 65-70F. Should I change it to 80F if that’s better for the plant?
Most likely over watering. Let the soil dry out in-between each watering. You can use your finger or a wooden stick to check the moisture in the top inch or 2 of soil. Pothos are hardy; it will lose a few leaves, but it should be fine.
