I’m enjoying the album. Of course reminiscent of the early atmospheric PT instrumentals. I love how PT has evolved with their music especially when Gavin took over the drums but I’ll always have a soft spot for their early Maitland era.
Enjoy! I thought it was a pretty fun spin. Jon Durant and Colin did a project called Burnt Relief that would be a great follow up listen if you like that. Not quite as mystical as this one, but the chemistry is fantastic.
Oh this is fantastic! I was very sad when I heard Colin wasn’t going to be in the Porcupine Tree reunion. As happy as I was for the band to reunite it was missing Colin for sure. He was a very important part of the magic in my opinion. The band is missing his sound. Really cool to hear Chris Maitland again too! I’m a big Gavin Harrison fan but I also really like Chris Maitland. Listening to the album now and it’s sounding really cool.
