Didn’t what flair would be the best, so I just choose the Abscess one. I just saw this and I am so shocked about the pop, the infection itself, the touching without gloves and that they took the piercing out.. Please don’t ever take out an infected piercing guys :,)

Worth the wait.
I wanted to see more. Squeeze it until it bleeds.
DUDE. WTF
It's a good thing - you squeeze out all the pus, and then the bleeding essentially flushes the wound from the bottom out, getting rid of more purulent material, and leaving it ready to start healing. Don't squeeze hard enough to bruise badly, just enough to encourage bloodflow!
I see my mistake brother, allow me to kneel in shame at my completely imbecile response. _| ̄|○

This has always been my working theory

I hope your pillows are cold.
...Or warm, if you're also in the midst of the winter storm.
Perfect reaction. Excellent launch too, nice parabolic trajectory and a good splat. This is some high quality content.
Indeed, the ballistic arc was on point.
Put your ear closer to the phone and you can hear that love pop. 🥴
YUCKKKK!
Haha so good.
Now that was a goodie
What a day it is to have fucking eyes. Like dude I just opened reddit. I hate what you did, but I respect it.

This one left us with the well worth
That was a god damn jump scare 😂
This gave me anxiety and then such sweet relief 😮💨
That happened to me ages ago. I’ve never once had a cartilage piercing heal.
Mine just stayed sore. I cleaned them on point so they never got infected and had prescription strength ointment but even after a year they were still tender. It just got too annoying to deal with.
I've had my cartilage pierced for 23 years and it still gets sore randomly. Not infected just mad lol. I keep thinking I should take it out but then it stops hurting and I forget about it until it hurts again 🤦 I don't learn very quickly.
It could be because of the way it was pierced. First cartilage piercing I had was done at a shop near my place, the piercer put on a hoop instead of a flat back, one year later had to take it out because it just didn’t heal.
Got another one about 3 months after I got that one done at a different shop with a piercer that has not only had a lot of experience but has won competitions too and knew a lot about the medical side of it too. Used a flat back, it went in smoothly and though it was painful it was less so than the other. It healed after a few months and now, 4 years later, I still have it.
That's exactly what my Piercer did in 1997. It was a triple piercing and he put hoops in all three. That might explain why it never healed!
Mine stayed sore for over a year, then I switched earrings to a titanium and suddenly they healed and weren’t sore. I can wear various metals in my lobes, but my helix is weirdly sensitive to anything except titanium.
I got my cartilage pierced when I was 15, took it out shortly after because I was an equestrian and my helmet constantly pushed against it and it hurt like a bitch. I’m 33 now and I STILL have a bump from it. Worst piercing ever ☹️
I did a couple on my cartilage at about the same age, I’m in my 30s now and have a camel ear.
My helix healed once I switched from a hoop to a stud; no idea why the piercer let me have a hoop right off, it's such a bad idea. My conch piercing on the other side, though, a few years later, never fully healed so I ended up taking it out. I'll give it a year to close, then get something else closer to the outside of my ear and in a different spot on that side.
One of mine healed, the other did not. The one that didn’t heal was taken out and now there’s a bump there
Huh. I had three done >15 years ago and they’re still around. I wore hoops for a few years, then various other jewelry, but it’s been 5+ years since I regularly wore anything in them. Still have all three, though I stick with 18g these days, vs the 16 they were pierced at.
I pierced my cartilage myself when I was a teenager (two near the top on my right ear) on top of many other piercings (my tongue too which is crazy to think about wouldn’t have the courage to do it now 😂) never got infected, only got mild soreness/swollen afterwards, and minus getting kinda sore if I sleep on that side with earrings still in never had any problems thankfully same with all of my piercings 😊
I will say tho my four regular bottom ear piercings (two on each side) partly close up even after just a week or two of not wearing earrings guess it just comes down to our bodies 🤷🏻♀️
I have several and they’re all good! I had a funky moment with my industrial but I did warm presses and popped it and after that I’ve never had an issue. Going for 10 years now!
The pressure!
Wonder if there was an earring back in there. Had that happen a few times.
I don't think so, it looked like a hoop to me.
That had to feel so much better
Don’t hate me for this but honestly; i’ve done similar to my helix and the bump was half the size of the one in the video.. I didn't even have pus in the bump like her, just a blood blister once that exploded across my mirror AND my cheek and the second time I released the pressure (today, sue me) it was mostly lymphatic fluid and a little blood. Honestly? It feels amazing and the relief is almost addicting haha, can’t imagine how much better the piercing in the video must have felt with this large of an infection.
I got blood blisters/bumps during the heeling of mine too. I always cringe when people take the piercing out. Sometimes it has to come out (I had a facial piercing that just never healed) but drainage and a salt soak works wonders for this.
Yeah, the pressure is just too much sometimes, but I would’ve never removed the piercing itself either too.

New profile pic for this sub?
Love it. But I thought you weren’t supposed to remove the jewelry if infected
Description! And you’re absolutely right. The only people who should ever remove the piercing if it’s infected are (medical) professionals, you could accidentally trap the infection otherwise.
I didn’t see that at first! My Mistake :)
dw!! :)
Thank you. I got so anxious about that I went straight to the comments to see if anyone else had mentioned it. I actually read the description too fast to see you had already said something
My hero ❤️ My daughter had this happen years ago. I bent her ear to look and the most glorious pop occurred. I’ve been dreaming of it ever since… Thank you!
Awesome. I remember having the same piercing. It wouldn’t heal. Was fun to pop, but hurt so much. I gave up, pulled the piercing and let it heal. Hopefully you have more luck.
That was so satisfying
I had one of these when I was a young teen but on the back of my earlobe from doing god knows what (safety pin? Forcing it to stretch too fast?). It was almost 2x bigger than yours, probably.
Even though it was seriously like 23 years ago, I still remember when I finally popped it. It seemed SO loud and it splattered (also made noise) on the mirror just like this. But truly, it was like 6” of splatter upwards.
I can even remember what cell phone I had- it was my first flip phone took pictures (I took a picture of the mirror, wish I still had it!), and I was on vacation in Florida. Like, that is how seared into my brain this memory is. It hurt so so badly but the relief was instant. Hope you’re feeling better!
This is exactly why I had to take my nose piercing out
Fantastic job, phenomenal work ma’am haha
This is the content I’m hoping for.
That was awesome.
Hell yeah!!!
That was a great pop. Lol
After that one!!
lmao
Ouch!
It made a noise
I took out an infected double eyebrow piercing (it had tunneled so all 4 holes had one empty space underneath) and treated it with hibiclens, Cetaphil gentle version, and crossed fingers (no insurance in the usa....oh yay 🙃) it luckily turned out ok but I know I was sooooo close to it turning the other way. IF YOU HAVE AN INFECTION DON'T BE A DUMBASS LIKE ME, GO TO THE ER!!! GET ANTIBIOTICS!!!
Oh yes....
With the white shirt!!
A classic, but it's evergreen.
Woo what a ride.
Did not disappoint.
ouch!
YIKES! I felt your pain watching that. But the relief at the end, just WOW!
Apparently there’s not a crystal for that.
Yuuuuuk. Excellent pop
Gotta love the audible ones
That sound though
I remember when I got a new piercing and the whole healing process was going really bad so overall. One day I woke up and saw that the piercing wasn’t in my ear. I was bummed, but let it go cause I thought it was for the better since it wasn’t going well. I thought my ear would heal, but eventually a huge bump showed up. Tried popping it but it was hard as hell and hurt like hell. After like a week of trying I got somewhere. Turned out my piercing never fell out. It was just hiding in the flesh of my ear when all this time I thought it was a cyst
Soak that bad boy in salt water STAT
Don't leave the piercing out, it can trap the infection! Clean it thoroughly and put it back in (a non-curved one, with a flat back would be better though)
Edit: just read your description, thank goodness xD
Kiwi or Aussie?
I heard Aussie and had to play it back. The swearing checks out, but could be either.

Huh! Well, I don't have any piercings so I'm out of my depth for sure lol. Good to know!

Description:), but thank you for your concern
I saw the description and my comment was not directed at you, I should have mentioned it, sorry. I just wanted to give a bit more detailed info for people that may stumble upon my comment as I didn't see any explanation about it from other users.
Ohh okay, thought you wanted to give me advice, since others had also believed that i was the person in the video
Why is it no good to take the piercing out when there is an infection ?
You might trap the infection which could potentially lead to sepsis or other serious complications. If you have an infected piercing you should go to your regular doctor or the ER, especially if it’s such an big infection like in the video. Keeping the piercing in keeps the holes open, allowing the pus to drain
I had one of those inside my nose after I got my septum done. It was rancid.
This took so long it had to be worth the wait. It was.
I had an infected piercing hole pop on me in English class in tenth grade. I thought the earring felt tight, so I loosened it, and suddenly my fingertips were coated in pus.
✋🏻 (non-purulent hand) "Ms Ayler, my ear exploded."
This video is one on my all time favorites
I’m gonna need a smoke after that one.

Description.. please read the description. Why does everyone think that this is me? hahah
And and
You nasty girl
The sound it made..::
You need to be careful with this clip, it's an antique.
Wicked pop but you shouldn’t do that with a piercing
That was glorious
Omg I literally jumped lol.
Hahaha I laughed when it popped
I had one like this before and almost passed out from the pain 😵💫
Old but gold
In a white tee too? She brave af.
The sound on that sucker when it exploded
I had an audible reaction to this. This is what I follow this sub for.

The SOUND omg
Amazing!
Sound on...
the noiseeee 🤯
It's not done...
Perfection 10
Did that pop just fart? I don’t think I’ve ever heard a pop make a sound
Need to know how that healed… 😅 hopefully she disinfected the heck out of it
Ewww and yuck!!! That was awesome
You did the right thing. Leave it out. I've got the same piercing. Keep it clean with dial antibacterial soap for a couple days until it looks better than pop your ring back in. It just may be a bit tight depending on how long you've had it. Great video!
