She’s really taking those letters she did before MBF about artist putting albums out fast in the past to heart I think. That Muppet Show thing she’s doing is already recorded so unless she’s just writing songs for Alice In Wonderland I’m wondering if she’s gonna have a new album out by summer. Other artist I’d say no but with her it’s like why not her label just lets her do whatever.
It really just comes down to how inspired she is. A companion album called Man's Worst Nightmare would be fun, if she wanted to. Alice feels a bit too far away though for a 2026 album. Writer/director Lorene Scafaria submitted the first draft to Marc Platt a not too long ago, and as of a few weeks ago, they had yet to present it to Sabrina. So the time it'll take to get a finished script, casting, Lorene to have time cause she's high in demand, I think pushes it to filming maybe in 2027 at the earliest.
I'd say that the second half of Man's Best Friend could be the "Man's Worst Nightmare" half of the record. The track run from Never Getting Laid to Goodbye has her being a lot more biting towards the titular "man" compared to the first half
just so good, I know a lot of people hated on man’s best friend for being more lowkey but I just love her style. it fits perfectly with don’t worry and never getting laid im obsessed.
i think that both albums have the same set of muses (Barry and presumably Shawn) helps this since this album was started right SNS was finished and Manchild was an early song so it'd be safe to assume some of the songs were abt the same ex as SNS
honestly it’s one of my top fav albums from her because it feels very much Sabrina and her aesthetic ik it’s not well liked on here but I streamed the fuck out of it this year lol

edit: Also looks like based on her fan letter there will be no deluxe for MBF and I personally am ok with that. I think MBF is perfect on its own and extra songs aren’t really needed. The songs it has tells the story well enough. Idk some albums I feel work better without a deluxe and this album is one of them. She closed it off well with Goodbye as the final song.

Been listening to this non stop since release lol and to me it is why Sabrina's horny dolly parton skit works so much it is because when she drops it it fucking hurts.
Both this and My Man On Willpower follow this funny wit writing of someone so densely in love that they can't see their partners escaping from their hands, that these rose-colored glasses are so pink that their flaws and obvious behavior are just charming and endearing parts of their personalities and she sings in such a earnest way that you actually believe their naivete to be real.
Both songs also end with these gut wrecking realization of the truth and the character's having to face their own guilty over being ignored and she drops the news in such an impactful way narrative wise and the production also follows the punch with the instrumental.
Such A Funny Way has been in my top 10 songs of the year and this is a nice treat to end 2025 on a high note.
This may be one of my favorite Sabrina songs in her entire discography. The slow fade out on the chorus that crescendos into the production and tempo switch up on the second verse always makes me feel like I'm levitating. Such an ingenious choice that gives the song levels, and helps to make the explosive final chorus feel earned.
FINALLY!! This song has one of her best bridges, and the line “so funny that I have to laugh just so I don’t cry” is such a great summation of the whole album.
Honestly this song really should have been originally on the album anyway! It’s such an amazing song and would fit perfectly between we almost broke up again and nobody’s son. I’m super happy to have it on streaming now either way! Mans Best Friend is probably my personal AOTY❤️❤️

Guys now why did I get downvoted for speaking the truth 😭😭 it’s a great song, but little promo = fewer streams. Obviously that isn’t an issue, but don’t expect this to be a Busy Woman or Feather 2.0 performance wise
I didnt down vote but I'll say I hate the term flop in this context. To me, flop implies that a song didnt get the numbers expected for it. Nobody expects a song people have already heard that is casually thrown onto streaming without warning or promo with only a day and a half left in the most competitive week of the year to do anything, and numbers were never the point.
