A survivor of convicted child sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein who once supported President Donald Trump is now adamantly denouncing him and the Department of Justice over their handling of his former friend’s case files.
“I redacted any support I’ve ever given to him [Trump], Pam Bondi, Kash Patel. I am so disgusted with this administration,” Haley Robson told CNN’s Pamela Brown Tuesday. “I think that Pam Bondi and Kash Patel both need to resign, and I would love to see No. 47 get impeached over this, and I’m just waiting.”
Robson said she believes Bondi should “be held more than in contempt” for the DOJ’s slow release of Epstein’s case files.
Robson, who said she once voted for Trump and at one point was his supporter, railed against his administration after the DOJ released a new batch of documents Tuesday, including a letter Epstein purportedly wrote to convicted sex offender Larry Nassar that suggested Trump shared their “love of young, nubile girls.”
“Dear L.N., As you know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home,” the letter, which the DOJ said was “fake,” read. “Good luck! We shared one thing … our love & caring for young ladies and the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls.”
Robson told Brown “that is a confession. That is him with his friends, admitting without openly discussing details on the kinds of girls — let’s not say women, they’re girls — that they are attracted to, and they’re gloating about it without being fully transparent and detailing it and it’s disgusting.”
Trump has not been charged with any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein’s case, and while Robson said she is not implicating the president, she slammed him for how he has treated the victims.
“You never invited us to the Capitol. You signed the bill, which you had no intention of fully being transparent. So I’m not quite sure why you even signed it, besides for theatrics,” Robson said. “We all know that your name are in the files.”
She questioned the administration’s “resistance” to releasing more of Epstein’s case files, claiming they’re “going above and beyond to hide the identities of” those involved in the abuse.
Robson said the “shame and embarrassment” she and other survivors have gone through “belongs to the men that continue to have business and personal relationships with a known pedophile and his accomplice.”
She reiterated that “the embarrassment, shame belongs to them, Trump included.”
