That's not quite accurate. The chain of custody of the physical laptop hasn't been confirmed. What exists was hacked icloud data and possibly a disk image, but there's no confirmation that any of it came from the alleged laptop.

I don’t think it’s fake, but I also think this was calculated on Epstein’s part. He wasn’t actually writing to Larry Nasser, he purposefully sent this to the wrong address hoping it would be made public. It was a backhanded suicide note.

That's not quite accurate. The chain of custody of the physical laptop hasn't been confirmed. What exists was hacked icloud data and possibly a disk image, but there's no confirmation that any of it came from the alleged laptop.

I do have questions about its credibility. It's postmarked from Northern Virginia (NOVA) rather than NYC where he was being held. The handwriting doesn't match the note that was found in his cell. It doesn't have a prisoner number that would be required for outgoing mail. I don't think there's ever been evidence of these two being connected outside of this letter. There's also incentive for the administration to release obvious bait into the mix that can be used to discredit the whole release.
