I'd be very surprised if any of them had a vested interest in Pokémon, as opposed to just generally having an interest. What's George Kittle's vested interest in Pokémon?
I’m pretty sure not only has he talked about liking Pokemon on his podcast with a teammate. They also had a YouTube short in the official 49ers channel about Pokemon cards.
I always love dudes on my teams ripping packs and stuff. There's been a few guys on the Dodgers being interviewed in their homes/hotels and you can see their ETB boxes or tins in the background.
That's a relief. I was like "the hat means nothing, he could just be a casual fan that scalps cards", but if he's big into romhacks, he's probably a legit fan that just loves the franchise a lot. Casual fans are not touching romhacks lol
Ya he was telling a story about getting a new tattoo that took hours and they asked what he even did to pass the time. Then he started explaining how he played kaizo ironmon to these sports podcasters who had no clue what he was talking about
I mean, if these guys are millennials or younger there's a very good chance they played Pokemon at some point, and considering how many adult fans of Pokemon there are, it's not that surprising there are public figures who are fans.
Heck, at some point it's inevitable the US will have a president who played Pokemon growing up.
You'd be surprised at how many pro sports stars have a vested interest in not just Pokemon but nerdy stuff as a whole.
Not sports, but Post Malone is a HUGE Magic the Gathering player.
He bought LOTR rings card
More specifically, he bought the only serialized copy of The One Ring for $2.1Million
Lord of the Rings rings?
My mfw when
He's also a Magic the Gathering CARD!
Didn't he do the pokemon concert, to be theme with the sub
As a gym goer, beefy nerds is just an evolution of your typical scrawny nerd.
I go to the gym, try to get swole and go home and rip packs/organize my pokemon cards.

Jamaal Williams is a HUGE weeb. He's worn Naruto headbands in post-game interviews before.
Kittle loves Pokemon but has been ripping old packs around gametime almost regularly these days 🔥

He's mentioned he plays Pokemon romhacks like kaizo ironmon in some interviews before. Definitely a big fan

Lead singer in a death metal band I saw was wearing one of these at the concert I went to, it was pretty cool
Firing up Kittle in my league tonight!
Bengals QB Joe Burrow was asked which Pokémon is his favorite in a press conference recently. Gave a solid, thorough answer!
Joe Thorough
Bro said Blaziken was one of his favs in that interview
Yo I have that hat in white

That hat is everything! So glad he’s rocking it, feels like a true fan of the culture
Leonard Williams has a nice sealed collection of both Pokemon & One Piece
I keep seeing this guy in ads and I have no idea who he is
He also has a hand tattoo of too. Blue eyes white dragon from Yugioh, and Sauron on his arm from Kodi Ellis tattoos. (He my artist, he’s the best!)
