Seriously, Manusos is 100% the dopest character in the show. After watching the season finale I like him even more. What characters are your favorite?

  • Snap snap motherfucker

I DON’T SPEAK SNAP (with anyone else)

As a Latino, i felt those snaps in my soul.

As a non-latino, could you explain what you felt, and why you felt it?

As a Latino, I cannot fucking STAND when other Spanish people snap or whistle at me to get my attention. Irks the absolute shit outta me. Like how hard is it to just say "hey" at least 😭

That look when he said it pissed me off because it seemed so condescending after the snapping. And I don't get why Carol didn't ask Zosia before "if you don't think he'd hurt me, who do you think he'd hurt? What has he done that makes him dangerous?"

Overall, Manusos reminds me of Carol in the beginning. The way she immediately jumped on fixing the situation, assumed the rest of the English speaking immune would have the same goal, and Lakshmi ripping her for not trying to understand the plurbs and how all of this came about. Same thing played out with Carol and Manusos.

And he's also right like Carol was. Working to stop the Joined is the only choice that's not selfish or self-deception

Zosia was definitely implying that Manousos was a danger to Zosia/the hive in her silence to make Carol against him, as she’s grown attached to Zosia.

I get that, but how did Zosia know that at the time? From my memory we saw him refusing help but not physically attacking anyone. And Carol doesn't know that. If someone I cared about implied that someone was a danger to them, but not to me, I would ask more questions about just how dangerous or what type of danger is possible.

I don’t think Zosia KNEW Manousos would yell at the hive to shut them down, but she knew he had a similar anger to Carol and was even more resistant than her. I think Carol panicked and assumed that Manousos was physically violent to the hive, since the only interaction they’d had previously was yelling at each other on the phone

What I liked about this episode is that they followed through on their thesis about Manousos: basically, that anybody psychologically capable of withstanding the loneliness and the Plurb Mind's attempts at loving communucation is going to be a bit of an asshole, and that they're not going to change upon encountering other human beings.

Absolutely it's character consistency! And the actor nailed it.

It's ironic because Lakshmi definitely doesn't understand the hive, Manousos seems to be the only one with a firm grasp on the reality of situation and it's implications. There are only two correct ways out of this situation: Cure the virus or the Nuclear Option.

  • Carol es turca?

    Carol es Albuquerquian

  • Bear Jordan?!

  • I don’t really blame him for doing it but he pissed me off when he threw Carol’s phone in the sewer 😭

I was like "no way he gets the phone out with a machete" but then it was magnetic!

sneaky little magsafe ad by apple

But it was an android device

Is it? Apple has rules about what characters can use iPhones and those who can’t. I doubt the main character in their current series isn’t carrying an iphone.

Apple has restrictions about how the devices can be shown/used, but the whole character rule thing is a myth

It wasn’t a myth, it just doesn’t exist anymore.

Do you have a source for this? The rule is about iPhones themselves being shown in a negative light, not that certain characters or villains can’t use them. The guy who killed John Wick’s dog had an iPhone.

Direct quote from knives out director

“Apple…they let you use iPhones in movies but—and this is very pivotal if you’re ever watching a mystery movie—bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera,” Johnson said.

Even if it wasn’t the actual case for every movie, for knives out, it was a conscious decision.

He can say that, and maybe it was a decision for Knives Out, but it’s never been a universal rule from Apple.

It's literally an Apple TV exclusive, they have to stick to the brand and use iPhones. It would be like Coke making a streaming service and making exclusive TV shows where people drink a competing brand.

i dont think it was. plus google translate, especially when offline, isnt nearly that fast and accurate

I'm pretty sure it's an android in the same otterbox case I have. Cannot tell you how excited I was when I discovered mine was magnetic!

WAIT IT IS? Does that mean Carol's the villain? Oh no! My beloved!

Someone get her an iPhone stat.

It seemed that way, didn’t it? However, when I thought so, I recalled that this is an Apple show. There’s no way she uses Android.

It is an Android. Maybe because the show is produced by Sony

    Good callout 🤔

I really thought he was gonna use it to press the phone up against the concrete wall and slide it up 💀 giving her phone back and it’s just completely shattered and scratched lmao

Yeah, me too, and I'd have been pretty impressed if he managed it that way.

He worked so hard just to get it on its side and i was thinking “yeah what now?! How in the - oh…didnt know that was a thing. Good for you”

Yeah, I was not thinking about a magnetic piece on the back lol.

I was wondering why he didn't just pry the grate up, but I guess the writers wanted more suspense this way.

I was like umm just lift up the grate

But he fished it out right after, at least he made amends even still burdened by a brutal journey.

Yup very true, I liked him even more after that

    He always pays his dues.

On some level, he also must know that Carol doesn't quite know what he's had to go through to get himself from Paraguay to Albuquerque. But after his journey, he's also surely going to be more than a little pissy.

That was so out of left field, I couldn't stop laughing

  • What was he doing in the trunk? I really didn't understand this, lol

Nothing lol. He was put in there by Carol to get him to stop experimenting on the hive.

Either he sleeps in there or the plurbs locked him in

  • No bs from day 1. Knew that this is not okay. Persistently refuse to take the side of the creatures, go extra mile just to prove them point.

And he cares about the people who are lost to the hive, contrary to what some try to claim. Not only does he try to compensate whatever damage he causes as he's looking for the cure, he gives hive a warning to get ready so nobody gets hurt when he yells at them.

    Hah, "go the extra mile"

  • Maybe it's Rhea, but I like Carol. She's human. She wants to save humanity despite her misanthropy. I like Manousos as well and he knows stuff and is not a crackpot. He showed his ability to figure out what was going on and to pivot. I think it's safe to say and no spoiler to suggest as neither one can do this alone. Together they might be able to save the world.

I see Koumba being brought into Carol’s cul-de-sac of Team World-Savers next season. He’s a stone’s throw from Carol and Manousos, in Vegas. I like the idea of all five (?) houses filling up with Unjoined. Possibly Laxmi next after Koumba.

Also impressed with Manousos’s capacity for compromise, after all. I think he’s actually heartened by Carol’s pushback, and he’s relaxing some of his rigid principles because he’s influenced by Carol’s practicality about using the Hive for some things like food, and by seeing that she hasn’t been poisoned by them.

he’ll still have an issue with the food, though. none of it is theirs to give, and it’s not his place to take. i assume he learned about the restocked grocery (maybe called the hive? speaking to them is definitely a principle he’s compromised on a little) and has been visiting and leaving money in the register for whatever he takes

I don’t know if Albuquerque soil supports growing produce, but I imagine Manousos is industrious and resourceful enough to find a nursery and start his own garden from what he can buy there. He was clever enough to find a library — I believe his science textbooks were all borrowed library books.

  • Brother there's technically only 14 characters on the show, 6 of them have yet to be shown. Not a lot of options here lol

I did enjoy the individual who was known as Larry to his friends (of which he had many)

That's not much less than a season of Survivor and people still have their favorites. 🤷🏻

  • Carol. She's easily the best written character in the story, which isn't hard because the story is about her, but I like how fleshed out and imperfect she is. I like Manousos too from an emotional perspective, but from a writing perspective I find him a bit uninteresting. Maybe the next season will flesh him out and make him a better character, but so far he's just okay.

Same. Carol is all flawed and bullshit sometimes, but it makes her so compelling to follow. Manousos is okay. I still skeptic about the guy. He strike me as somewhat unpleasant with his rigidity & how he show up doing all crazy things, but i know he doing the best he can. At least he shows sign of change.

It’s hard for her not to be

It would be embarrassing if she wasn’t

I think Vince dumbed her down a little too much in episode 9, she never seemed the type to shoot at a human. Not with the manipulation tactics or anything included. I think it was just an odd decision to make her as impulsively violent as she was in the last couple episodes.

But for most of the show she’s been super interesting, funny, and unique. So maybe she will surprise me, and Vince too

Well, the sudden violence might have been triggered by the fact that she was watching her new "girlfriend" almost die in the same exact way as Helen.

I agree that she behaved differently in episode 9 even considering the manipulation/love she got from Zosia/plurbs. She seemed way too eager to not work with Manousos

yeah it was sorta embarrassing to watch her target the same arguments at manousos that she rejected when she first met the other unjoined.

it would have been so much more interesting if she was like “yeah they’re not human but i am alone and i am miserable and i can’t do this anymore and i want company for myself and my sanity… and i don’t want to go back to being alone so fuck you.”

and i mean… i get it, people are hypocritical and she was alone for a long time, but her commitment to remaining a person combined with her insistence that they were also people in the same sentence felt really immature from her. it’s a very human take, for sure, but i felt the show had set carol up in a different way, and this felt like a very general, not carol-specific way for her to handle things.

idk i’m expecting to feel differently somewhere down the line, but i definitely was a littttttle disappointed in carol. not disappointed that she cracked, but that i didn’t really feel compelled by it.

for the middle of the episode, i missed everything i like about her and honestly was ready to just watch the manousos show which i don’t love. i don’t mind morally complex characters but it all just felt a little too on the nose

Yeah Carol's so dumb for falling prey to intense manipulation after a month of complete isolation i would never fall for that shit

oh i never said she was dumb. can you show where i said that? i basically said it was immature and uninteresting to have carol regurgitate an almost identical spiel to what the other unjoined told her back in episode 2.

in fact i said multiple times that i am not bothered that she caved and that its very human. lol reading comprehension y’all. i legit just said it didn’t feel very carol sturka esque for her to drink the kool aid in the exact same way everyone else did

my gripe is literally just that i figured things would look different with carol falling for the hive but instead we got carol vs laxmi copy and pasted onto the

Same, Manousos (as a character) is very boring to me, and people hailing him as the righteous protagonist or whatever is kind of annoying. Season 1 is great though, and if the plan for 4 seasons gets followed, then there’s going to be a lot more character development yet to happen.

  • They are archetypes. Manny is the very definition of an avowed rugged individualist, the Hive is the obvious collective with group think, and Carol is the emotionally driven aspect of humanity pulled between the two. Mr. Diabate is pure self-centered materialism and sensory seeking despite the cost to others. Laxmi's motherhood represents a reactionary protective survival stance of pulling inward in denial of the greater suffering. I wonder if the show speaks more to American audiences since this is our current political landscape.

Bingo! Like all great science fiction, whether it’s set in the present or the future, on earth or outer space, it’s about what’s happening here and now. I feel like a lot of viewers are missing this, but it’s obvious once you see it. A gross simplification would be: Carol is a moderate, Manousos is a progressive, Diabate is an oligarch and Laxmi is MAGA.

if carol is a moderate then how come the rest of the survivors dont think so.

  • Carol in 9 episodes: Uhhh.. they drink like this liquid.. wait Zosia is kind of hot I give up, glory to the hive

Manousos: Immediately figures out the radio frequencies, bar after bar "Isn't it evil to value a man the same as an ant" so peak 😭

I would also sell out all of humanity for a night with Zosia.

lol so you're just weak minded, personally i would stay strong (i would do the exact same thing im lying)

same. and I'm a gay man

    https://preview.redd.it/xx09n8gqs79g1.jpeg?width=650&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3751bb637a8097018793f9158ed2557a826a05f8

Yall are really doing this meme here with Carol being the upper example and Diabate being the lower one lol.

I know that the reason both ended up in bed with the plurbs is different, Diabate is doing it because he copes with the situation by acting like he is the king of the world who can do anything he wants, while Carol was basically in denial and tried to pretend she is in a normal relationship with Zosia after breaking down mentally thanks to the extended period of isolation, but when theyre being intimate theyre both still shagging 7 billion people simultaneously which is pretty messed up if you ask me

Just like 50 Shades of Grey -- if people didn't think the dude was hot, it would have just been an episode of Criminal Minds

Yeah I actually wondered if she was going to see Diabate and be like "oh I'm just a toned down version of him now." Zosia cannot consent, an entity is consenting on her behalf Carol! CAROL! Carol put down the Left Hand Of Darkness and pick up Dawn by Octavia Butler!

In both Carol's case and Diabate they gave them what they wanted to pacify them. We don't know a lot about Diabate, but I'm guessing based on languages and style that he was probably a spoiled rich kid who now gets to take things to another level. In Carol's case there is the loss, and then the isoloation. The "others" looked for the best honeypot they could find and dragged her across the world. She was chosen because she was "Pirate Lady" not just Carol's type, which any of them could be, but Carol's fantasy.

I have no idea what writers are planning, but Diabate has a shit ton of unexplored potential for future seasons. He didn't give me any vibes of a rich guy. He is a poor man's idea of how rich people live. He might've been a poor African guy who had to make his ends meet scamming people (and never being good with it)

Diabate is very well spoken and eloquent to be from an uneducated poor background.

That's where the scamming thing comes in my mind. He scammed rich people so he had to act like one. He specifically learned it. That's where all this love for showmanship comes from, why he was enacting a high stakes poker game in a god damn Las Vegas - city of biggest scams. He completely buys into the idea of an American dream (while not being an American), the marketable version. He realises that he can do anything and what he does? Gets himself a PRESIDENTIAL personal plane that belonged to USA president.

That screams to me of "fulfilling an American dream while never stepping foot in America before because you saw that in movies"

If he was simply rich he would not buy into it in that manner. He would have at least been able to afford to visit America before the merge and see that it is not like they show in media.

I disagree, I think Diabate will be given a pretty harsh past and now he finally gets to "enjoy" a life where he has everything he's never had.

Yes and knowing the body lacks the capacity to withhold their consent. Kinda rapey on both fronts.

  • “Nothing on this planet is yours, you cannot give me anything because everything you have is stolen.”

Is the most fire line I’ve heard in a while, Manousos is that guy.

  • He won me over from “you’re not my mother. My moms a bitch.”

  • Manousos: Loner who thrives on being a loner is thriving being a loner

Carol: Deeply codependent, grieving widow struggles when the exact woman of her fantasies is dropped off at her door.

I agree I like Manousos but Carols struggle right now and her rationale for her behaviour is under appreciated by the community a bit.

  • Carol and Manousos. I liked Carol from the beginning, but Manousos was an unexpected favorite.

  • it’s so funny because he has integrity and honor but at the same time is as stubborn and antisocial as Carol

she’s gonna betray him again, watch

also, that eastern lady who’s name I can’t remember with the son… he will make her break out of her denial

I hope they meet soon 🤣

The plurbs are going to get Carol to kill Manusos.

it’s ironic too bc he could totally defend himself against her but I don’t think he will out of integrity

He can defend himself if they throw straight hands but I doubt his machete can do much if Carol points a shotgun at him again

he could easily have snuck out of the trunk if he had wanted

    he just laid there unfazed

They might. It'd be interesting. But he is a lot of people's fave so the show wouldn't be satisfying without him tbh. Unless they add more chars.

Reminds me of how Jesse pinkman was meant to be killed off in season 1 and was kept on. Things can go in many directions.

  • Manny is the goat

Wrong! Baby goat is the goat. Manny is close second.

  • nah, still Carol

    Manny is great tho

  • This is a very weird show for me, because I enjoy the show but hate every character lmao

  • Manousos. I like his determination, his clarity of understanding, and his dedication to his goal. I also like that his principled way of thinking leads him to act unwise. It's funny and relatable

As for Carol, I like her as a concept - I like unfriendly, blunt women who get angry - but I do not like her as a character through whose eyes we get to experience these events. I find the first season to be meandering. It's taken Carol nine whole episodes to come to the conclusion I, like Manousos, got to on day one. The hive is demonic possession scifi style, to which the solution is a scientific exorcism. Nothing else is worth doing in this scenario. Not engaging with the demons, certainly - except to gain information about their operations so we can bring them down. We have a responsibility, as an infected planetary cell, to warn our neighbours. Our misfortune dies with us, IMO.

That said, I myself would probably have let the hive do chores for me, clean my house, cook fancy things I can't make, stuff like that. I'd also ask them a lot of random curiosity questions. So maybe a little demonic engagement, as a treat. And maybe I'd learn something interesting, like how to make the hive work against its prime directives by helping me with mine. Like say make them broadcast my message from their huge antenna: "warning, don't make RNA chain from previous message, it'll get you". This said, the argument "Carol's just being human" every time she makes mistakes (like engaging in a sexual relationship with Zosia's puppeteered corpse) falls completely flat for me. Being human isn't stumbling over your most basic impulses and drives. It's resisting them to do the right thing. Your humanity isn't in your weaknesses, it's in your strengths: You are never more human than when you do everything right and still fail.

I can only hope things speed up next season. The premise is interesting, and episode nine was fun. I wanna see some "Welcome to Earth! 👊🏻" type American content. Fingers crossed

  • “Uncompromising men are easy to admire. He has courage, so does a dog. But it is exactly the ability to compromise that makes a man noble”

Hasn’t he shown his ability to be flexible? With staying inside the house, and then talking with the Others? Those are calculated compromises he took towards the greater good he hopes to achieve.

Yup--even Manousos has adapted and accepted some "benefits" -- just not as many as Carol

well i think the distinction is that for carol they are or were benefits but for manusous they are necessities. she got comfortable little by little and manusous isnt even happy to do the things he actually needs to succeed

I’d agree with you, he just doesn’t act without knowledge.

He’s shown it once he started talking to a human

"And isn't it evil to value a man's courage the same as a dog's?" - Manousos

This comment was more about his appeal than about his character. It's easy to admire those who stick to their guns because they are who we wish we would be in similar circumstances. An ideal. He is smart and flexible, which I was worried he would not be. But then again, we don't know much about him except how dogmatic he is. We don't know who he lost, what his life has been like, what drives him to be so dogged. Hoping to get some answers in S2.

We know his mom was a bitch. He said it so himself

  • 100% agreed. Manousos is the greatest character in the show. I really admire him for having such an unbreakable impetus He’s not perfect he’s stubborn and unwilling to compromise yet he’s fundamentally grounded in morality and dignity, and that’s what makes us human, isn’t it? We’re supposed to make our progress towards completion, not perfection, and that’s what I can’t wait to see in Manousos’s character development. I’m sure we will see some truly compelling moments from him.

  • He’s not a hypocrite (all the unjoined who don’t see it as a problem, yet don’t want to join), and is willing to compromise with Carol to get stuff done. He started asking the joined questions as soon as Carol gave him the same “have you tried talking to them?” that she initially rejected (until she was isolated). Don’t get me wrong, he’s stubborn as hell, but he is definitely about it.

  • It's was very apparent from the first mention that Manousos was going to be central. It won't be Kim Wexler/Jimmy McGill, but that formula drove BCS, but a variation on that made huge amounts of sense. And the celebration of cultural and personality differences was an obvious way to make statements about the value of human collaboration across artificial boundaries placed in contrast with the implications of artificial harmony. As Gilligan and the team have shown, they know where they're going and the way points, but it's the process and carrying the audience through it that matters most.

  • This absolute unit of a complete madman, I simply love him.

I didn’t think he had quietly whispering to Rick’s nonexistent inner consciousness to come back to the light and save himself in him. What a guy.

  • Alien virus hivemind with the power of (almost) every human's brain vs Actual indomitable human spirit

  • Its Carol. Manousos would have starved himself to death if she didn't give him a kick in the pants to actually do something with her videos.

well carol kind of had the head start on him. she was outside when the spread happened, and then saw it directly effect someone she knew, and after all of that she had the highest ranking live politician talk to her on tv. manusous was isolated to the point that the hive didnt even realize he was immune and then when they tried contacting him he refused because as far as he was concerned it was evil dead outside.

  • I actually really like Diabete and Laxmi. I’m eager for their character arcs.

  • I have not watched the last episode yet, but I admit I do not like Manousos, at all 🤷‍♂️

  • My favorite is still Carol.

  • He's fine as hell. He's intelligent and focused. He's masculine. We could speak to each other in my preferred language.

  • Sorry but it’s Carol for me

  • The first time I ever heard about him I thought he was just some doomsday prepper that happened to get lucky. But every moment he's been on screen has made me cheer him on more and more. It might've been a little tough in the beginning with Carol, but in all honesty based on what we've seen I kinda think it's something that can be overlooked.

Plus his speech about how they own nothing, how they've stolen everything, just chef's kiss I had to reply it like 5 times cause it was amazing. I hope he gets the chance to slap that French guy in the mouth.

  • When he gets turned I will be inconsolable. I really like Carlos-Manuel Vesga’s chemistry with Rhea, they will probably deliver an all-time performance for season 2.

  • He delivers the hardest one liners every time he appears on screen.

    My mother is a bitch

Nothing in this world belongs to you

Isn't it evil to value a human life the same as an ant

i immediately fell for him after "you're not my mother. my mother is a bitch" line lol

  • We haven't spent much time with him, but baby goat might be my favourite character. What a performance. give the kid an Emmy

  • Manousos because he’s a real one.

  • I have seen a lot of hate for Manusos, and it's driving me nuts. There's this one group of people saying that Manusos is a great example of toxic masculinity because he immediately resorts to violence with the hive instead of conversation ... WHICH IS NOT AT ALL WHAT HAPPENED??? Also that he is unhinged because he said hive people are better off dead if there is no way to fix them. Like ... He goes out of his way not only to NOT hurt the hive people, but also respects their rights and tries to mitigate whatever damage he might cause in his quest by paying for everything he takes etc. even when he attempts to disrupt the Hive in final episode he gives them a warning and plenty of time to prepare so that nobody dies because he clearly cares about those people and wants to save them. And yes, if there were NO WAY to save them and the change was irreversible, they are better off dead, because at this point THEY MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD. The world is not better or more equal with the hive, because there is no world to speak of, the people have been turned into mindless vehicles of alien mind virus propagation, it's some absolutely horrific Lovecraftian nightmare fuel and yes it's better to kill those drones to at least hopefully save whatever sentient life might be left in the galaxy if there is any at this point.

  • Carol: Loses her shit twice hysterically, and kills millions of people.

Manousos: Puts a knife to hive's throat, and calmly "borrows" a whole ambulance without ever harming a single one of the hive.

  • Diabaté. Dude needs his own spin off.

I really hope we get to see how Diabate was before everyone got plurb'd.

Same! Its easy to assume he was someone entitled or wealthy, but I’d love for them to go in the opposite direction. Like, maybe his life was terrible and he was all alone. He could quickly become a really interesting and sympathetic character.

  • I'm sorry but him eating raw dogfood out of the can took me out

  • He really isn’t my favourite character. He’s probably my least favourite character.

  • THE WORK BEGINS !

  • I don't like him, honestly. He gets on my nerves. No logical reason as to why. Sometimes, people just have a face that you wanna punch, and he's one of them.

Imagine that: he has a face they all want to punch, but they can’t.

  • I have none and that’s why your question is wrong.

  • He's the only person showing any signs of humanity so it's quite an easy choice

  • I hate him but i respect his intelligence

  • I’m just excited to see more of Manousos and Carol together. I like them both a lot and together.

  • He’s definitely my favorite!

  • Eh, Manousos's fanaticism has made him kind of an idiot. He nearly got himself killed for no good reason and his refusal to use anything because everything in the world is 'stolen' is just plain moronic. It's just pointless virtue signalling. I get that that turns a lot of people on but It's a post-apocalyptic world and everyone except for a dozen people is presumed dead until proven otherwise. You use whatever you need.

Carol may be weaker-willed, but she was correct to realize much sooner that even to defeat the Hive one has to make use of it, and later attempts to study it. Manousos is going to have to become more like Carol in that respect to have any chance at succeeding.

  • You read my mind in the title.

  • Diabetes he'd be the reaction of 99% of us in a situation like that, even if you dont want to fuck the hive, I bet most would live a luxury life, like Carol in vacation with Zosia, and the 1% that try to be Manousos won't have the willpower to actually be like him.

  • He's one of the coolest characters in TV history in my opinion

  • Yea manusos is definitely the best in this show. I’m curious to see their dynamic in season two as they are both stubborn and sarcastic.

  • There was so much Manusos hate prior to this episode

  • Unpopular but i hate him. He's as pretentious as it gets.

  • I dont like Carol as a character, but I get how her stubbornness and selfishness drive the show forward. That said, her decisions are so stupid. Manny too makes some poor decisions, but his intentions are more noble. He genuinely believes people's souls need saving. And he's actively trying to test solutions, as opposed to Carol who is manipulating the others by building a false sense of trust with them.

  • I love all the characters in this show even the goat and Rick. I feel like Carol reacted similarly to manusos in the beginning. Idk why there is so much hate against her. I think she’s finally seen herself in manusos in the end. Like she started out privileged and then had several revelations along the away. I’m excited to see what they will do

  • i could have made a case for either carol or manusos before e9, but after seeing carol fall for the hive's love ruse i am on team manusos

  • I love your title!

(It also bugs me that viewers and Youtubers have been referring to him as "Manny". I just find that really disrespectful. You don't see anyone referring to Zosia as Zoey.)

  • I love Carol, Zosia (or the hive rather), and Manousos in that order, and they're three of my favorite Gilligan-verse characters already with just one season down.

Laxmi is a sneaky fav as well. Need her to join team Carousos in season 2.

  • Manousos Cuz it's not the plurbs that need to be cured it's Carol that has to be cured first and only sigma person Will understand this comment!!

  • I dont really like his character at all.

  • I was going to say the Goat. After all, he is The GOAT.

  • Considering the show is starved of characters (non plurb ones) he is by far the most interesting

Carol for me is boring on her best scenes and outright irritating/annoying on her worst moments

  • He is awesomely written character , like him more than unknown word or name

  • He's a fanatic and I'm not a fan ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • Manusos is a man so he is the best. Carol is a woman so she is a bitch. They are pretty similar though.

  • Manousos and Zosia.

  • The "I don't do snap" sealed it for me but I do like cycle shorts guy also.

  • Because of the expression on his face when Carol opens the trunk

  • His self discipline is something I lack so I find it inspiring.

  • Mr. Diamati. He has a certain charm. I would mind being friends with someone like that.

  • Either Zosia or Mano. Sure as fuck ain't Carol.

  • I liked Manousos up until the finale. He was just an ass the entire time. Being super paranoid, not trusting of Carol (who knows way more than he does and he's aware of that), the snap, and the sarcastic politeness.

I understand it's his character and ultimately he ended up being right, but he was just an asshole the entire episode and I wasn't a fan.

  • Koumba all day boi !

  • I love how everyone creams over manousos whereas they couldn’t STAND carol. I wonder why.

  • There’s literally 2 characters lol

  • You ain't wrong. Carol lost all moral authority to continue being the main character. She was annoying since the beginning, but she kinda got a pass due to her addiction baggage, the traumatic way she lost Helen and ended up being the only conscious human being in the country... but the last two episodes really showed her true colors... she used to criticize Diabaté for r4ping all these women, and she ended up doing exactly the same with Zosia. So much for mourning Helen!!! I dislike Carol's character. She can no longer be the heroine of the story

  • Manousos supremacy

    Manousupremacy

  • Manuosos is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will. The 'John Wick' of Pluribus universe.
