I got my snug pierced a month ago and I was really nervous about the healing initially, but it’s been super easy. It’s stopped crusting, doesn’t hurt, and has the smallest amount of swelling. I mostly forget it’s there, and it’s cleaned in the shower and with saline spray if I haven’t showered. I’ve found if I clean it in the shower and with spray it really dries my skin out.

My helix was done 6 weeks ago and has also healed wonderfully.

I can’t wait to downsize and put my end goal jewelry in. I feel like waiting is the worst part!

I kept reading about how rook are hell to heal, but (knock on wood) mine’s been pretty happy. I would love to get a snug one day, your post gives me hope that maybe it isn’t impossible to live with one during the healing stage
