“PROVO, Utah (AP) — The Utah man charged with killing Charlie Kirk made his first in-person court appearance Thursday as his attorneys pushed to further limit media access in the high-profile criminal case.
Prosecutors have charged Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder in the Sept. 10 shooting of the conservative activist on the Utah Valley University campus in Orem, just a few miles north of the Provo courthouse. They plan to seek the death penalty.
Robinson, 22, arrived amid heavy security, shackled at the waist, wrists and ankles and wearing a dress shirt, tie and slacks.
He smiled at his parents and brother sitting in the front row. His mother teared up after he walked in and clutched a tissue throughout the hearing while his father took notes. Robinson had previously appeared before the court via video or audio feed from jail.
Early in the proceedings, state District Court Judge Tony Graf briefly stopped a media livestream of the hearing and ordered the camera be moved after Robinson’s attorneys said the stream showed the defendant’s shackles in violation of a courtroom order.”
The FBI and law enforcement had NO EFFECT on this man getting caught. They deserve exactly ZERO credit.
In fact, law enforcement bungled this in nearly every way possible. Multiple false positives, FBI director lying to the public, just clueless from local to federal.
If he didn't come clean to his dad/start bragging that he did it (to his friends online) I doubt he would have been caught at all.
IIRC his grandpa and father recognized the weapon immediately after law enforcement found it, since it was a family heirloom type of situation. But yeah, if his family didn't help he could have had a pretty good shot (pun unintended) of laying low.
This is going to sound insane, because it is, but my dad lent a friend a guitar to play & then the friend beat his wife to death with it. That was 20 years ago & the guitar is still sitting in evidence somewhere, my dad never got it back.
The court order explains why we haven't seen more photos. The judge ordered no pictures of him in shackles.
Since Robinson's first court appearance via video link on October 27, Graf has made rulings designed to protect his presumption of innocence in a case he said had drawn "extraordinary" public attention.
The judge ruled Robinson could appear in court in regular clothes but must be physically restrained. Graf prohibited media from filming or photographing Robinson's handcuffs and shackles after his lawyers said images of him restrained could prejudice jurors.
I'll admit I don't know court procedure, but it seems strange that Graf is so concerned about prejudicing jurors that he won't allow photographs of him in chains (which I completely agree with), but is still insisting that he be chained. I'd think with such a high profile case, there's got to be so much police presence in and around that courtroom that that step seems unnecessary. He can't run away. I haven't heard any news that he's made threats to anyone.
Honestly these court photographers seem pretty good, he looks like what he looks like but I'd put money on this being one the best photos dude has ever taken.
There were quite a few mormon families in my hometown and they all look like this. I don't know how to describe it but his features are just instantly recognizeable and scream mormon to me. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
Remember though..Waluigi is the wierd Luigi, not the evil Luigi

Yes, most people like to pretend like that episode never happened. But not because it was bad 😰
Edit: because it is genuinely terrifying. For me it checked way too many "primal fear" - boxes for comfort, with a subtle psychological horror themes underscoring this, and I had nightmares for years after. This episode is a jarring contrast to the two preceding it. So, if you watch season 1 in sequence, it may catch you off-guard. What makes "Squeeze" so scary are the mundane aspects of its horror themes and how effectively they mirror the supernatural ones (and vice versa). Which in turn are allegorical of how violence is contemporary and evolves along with the measures combating it, therefore, will always be part of human nature and society. Indeed, later developments regarding the guest star were disappointing and heartbreaking but surprising, not so much. Thank you all for the response!
I loved the show as a kid but only remember two episodes this one and the one about some ancient killer swarming fly released from trees by loggers. Coincidentally I’ve been thinking about that episode a lot lately and wanting to watch it.
Darkness Falls. Season 1. Been thinking about that one lately too. Love the ones where they’re stuck in a “you’re fucked” situation. Ice in season 1 and Detour in season 5 are both awesome for the same reasons.
The only way to get famous as a killer these days is to look a certain way, smh. People don't respect the craft anymore. It's all about what plays well on insta. Ted Bundy, Hot Mugshot Guy, Luigi - if you don't have a certain look, you're never going to make it big after arrest.
No no, he disassembled the rifle in about 20 seconds and put it in his backpack. Then he jumped off the roof and reassembled the rifle' scope and all' and left it in the woods.
Those texts weren't texts but were as Kash Patel mentioned, comments made by the FBI about the supposed texts. It was the weirdest thing ever, the FBI instead of releasing the actual texts decided to.. give their own interpretation?
But than considering the narrative they try to swing on it, that this was done by the left makes sense as it allowed them to just write bullshit.
What I don't understand why they decided to make it such an obvious cock up. If they released their own interpretation of those messages in a more normal fashion, nobody would have noticed or fallen over it. But because they were so weird, people questioned the authenticity.
Comment got taken down for posting links to X, so I'll try again. Timestamps and quotes are verbatim so those messages should appear on a search engine.

"The Left are terrorists."
Stewart Rhodes, Oath Keeper founder, spoke on InfoWars about the event:
"You should declare the left in this country is in obvious open rebellion against the law of the United States. They’re committing insurrection, they're aiding and abetting an invasion, and they're blocking the execution of federal law,"
That whole thing was weird. Media started watching the house after and no one ever saw her and then it was reported that she "abandoned the house" and there's been no info whatsoever since. I imagine we will know more soon from the trial though.
Interesting that all the discourse about this kid died down when we couldn’t figure out his political leanings and were unable to fully blame the right or the left.
There is a gag order in place, thus there's nothing new to add to the discourse about him. He can't express his ideology through letters or his lawyer. His family is under the order as well, as is anyone involved including prosecution and law enforcement. His roommates and gamer friends already said what they had to say. With no new information, the public conversation about this case stalled out. But it will pick up again as the case plays out.
It died down because there was no new information. It will ramp up again while the trial progresses. Even now in this thread with no new information it’s ramped up again.
Lol so weird seeing how different Reddit’s perception of him is so different from Luigi upon getting a better look at his face. People just clowning on him and no one acting like he’s a saint.
One murdered due to capitalism, the other due to political speech. There’s a lot more support of fucking with the rich on the grounds that people should have health care so that they don’t die or corporations can’t revoke coverage because they just don’t want to pay for your illness that will kill you. It’s controversial, but could be reasoned. On the other side, most people don’t support assassinating public talking heads debating teens on a college campus. The more interesting question could be made of how their looks played into each suspect’s choice of victim to murder.
There’s a lot more support for attractive people too. People calling for the release of hot murderers is nothing new. Look at Ted Bundy a literal serial rapist/murderer who targeted women and still had tons of women supporting him
I’m from that area in Utah. He looks super like people from that area in Utah.
Are they all related or what
I mean
Well, thanks to polygamy, everybody there has the same great-great-grandfather.
Like like a Habsburg.

His dad turned him in.
But I was told by FBI Director Cashapp PayPal it was good police work!
I’m rolling off this one, might be better than Pete Kegsbreath hahaha
RePete-offender Kegsbreath?
You mean the Secretary of War Crimes?
Triplesec Def himself, yes. The Signal cannot be stopped.
Kash is short for Kashyap so Cashapp isn't too far away
HIS NAME IS KASHYAP?
I'm stealing that.
Why is this so fucking funny? It's so dumb but I'm cackling over here
Never let the FBI live this down.
The FBI and law enforcement had NO EFFECT on this man getting caught. They deserve exactly ZERO credit.

Does the family get the weapon back after it's released from evidence?
Which makes me wonder - do all confiscated weapons remain in evidence or do they get put into the auction or something else?
This is going to sound insane, because it is, but my dad lent a friend a guitar to play & then the friend beat his wife to death with it. That was 20 years ago & the guitar is still sitting in evidence somewhere, my dad never got it back.
Would he want it back though ?
Death metal
Honestly, I completely forgot about Patel lying to the press until you mentioned it.
Edit: spelling
He went home and confessed to his dad, who convinced him to turn himself in with the help of a retired sheriff in their neighborhood.
He is alleged to have confessed to his dad but hasn’t yet confessed in a legal sense (and may still plead not guilty).
Right. If a guilty plea comes it'll be after a long negotiation with the DA, probably over the death penalty
Looks like he has a raging clue
Yeah, I'm totally getting a clue.
I'm starting to get a clue too.
My clue is bigger than your clue
Almost made me shoot clue goo all over Joe!
Oh no! Not the goddamn Hardly B….
Ooo my clue is pointing this way!
My clues pointing over there
Ha! That's exactly who he looks like. Well done
Aww naw not the goddamn Har....
Omg that's a great description of how he looks!!!
Mine is pointing to the left, such a raging clue
Oh JFC, that made me snort
I don’t understand the reference.
Can someone explain?
It's from South Park. A classic episode lol.
https://youtu.be/XIzVnsRrDIU?si=CVh8vvK1I7Oi7e37
Thank you so much for explaining, it’s impossible to keep up with all the references these days
You know what, after seeing all the pictures of Luigi over the last few days I was wondering what happened to Tyler after he was accused
And I see he’s in civvies from day one. Not being perp walked in orange like Luigi.
Luigi was in the full jumpsuit with what looked like half of the NYPD escorting him
And Eric Adams, who was undergoing a criminal investigation at the time.
He was out of black churches to use for cover. He needed the press bump.
And somehow he still looked like he was walking the runway for Balenciaga.
Captain: did you do that perp walk?
Lieutenant: yep, made it real sexy just like you asked
Captain: what
🎶 arrest me, but make it sexy 🎶
Cop cuties, cute and on duty
Cutie McShooty
Cutie McAllegedly-Shooty
🎶 navy blue booties, go ahead and lock me up 🎵
🎶 Is that a baton in your pocket Or are you just happy to see me? 🎶
It’s funny how photogenic he seems. Like every picture I’ve seen of him looks like it’s from a biopic of his life
He's Barney from HIMYM
Yeah I think the main concern is women throwing themselves at Luigi. It’s a huge security risk
Dude I’m a straight man and I’d probably throw myself at him.
Just tryna shoot your shot like the rest of us, back of the line unc
Disrobe, Descend, Deepthroat.
He gave, “All rise,” a whole new meaning in the courtroom
This comment deserves more… love
There needs to be some version of the grasping hands meme for straight men and gay women feeling sexual confusion over Luigi.
His alleged actions are incredibly attractive.
They all but gave him the full Hannibal Lecter treatment
With Mayor Adam's looking like an absolute tool.
He can’t help it, he has resting tool face.
PRYING OPEN MY THIRD EYE
I KNOW THE PIECES FIT
cause I watched them fall away
It's like they were trying to make him into an iconic antihero.
Not a good look for the NYPD when you outnumber your prisoner 20 to 1. Makes it look like you need them because you're fucking weak.
There are many shows of strength that really are shows of weakness. But they are not known for being particularly intelligent
They had more guards around him than fucking Superman did. Treating him like he’s an avengers level threat
To my panties
The court order explains why we haven't seen more photos. The judge ordered no pictures of him in shackles.

Luigi gives them a reason to photograph him all the time. Dude always fucking looks like he stepped out of GQ.
I wonder if they sell Luigi calendar for 2026.
I remember buying “Trudeau my Canadian boyfriend” calendar back in 2016
*Not available in stores with CEOs
He's not as photogenic is he?
Honestly these court photographers seem pretty good, he looks like what he looks like but I'd put money on this being one the best photos dude has ever taken.
Yup, this headshot goes straight on his tinder profile!
Oh good, because his last headshot didn’t go over well.
This comment is necks level
There arent posts in fauxmoi about having his babies and stuff so I'll say no
It looks like he was riding a motorcycle too fast and both the top of his head and chin were blown backwards.
First time I’ve seen his face 🤷
Title of your sextape
There were quite a few mormon families in my hometown and they all look like this. I don't know how to describe it but his features are just instantly recognizeable and scream mormon to me. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
I'm from Utah, he looks like every intern I've ever met.
Lack of genetic diversity you mean.
He has a very small cranium & a very deep but weak jawline.
Looks like inbreeding to me.
Honestly, he looks like a prehistoric Charlie Kirk.
God damn it, you nailed it.
It works on so many levels.
Like... Two at least.
Anyone else read this in H. Jon Benjamin's voice?
Sometimes this dumb site is worth it.
Remember though..Waluigi is the wierd Luigi, not the evil Luigi
per Waluigi as played by Kate McKinnon on Saturday Night Live in a sketch that somehow kept getting stupider and better at the same time for its entire run
It works on universal levels. Only the arrival of Mario is left.
Then begin "The Mario Wars"
He’s like the dead opposite of Luigi.
Waluigi
He really does have Waluigi's chin though, holy fuck.
These writers, man... This is absurd. Ken Bowser at Nintendo. This president.
What the fuck is reality anymore?
WAAAAAAAAAAH
Literally what I was thinking. Someone has to edit the whole Mario crew when more happen
“when” oof
This list is incomplete, you can help by expanding it.
fucks sake 😭
Waluigi Womangione
This is way funnier than it should be lol thank you
He looks like the weird hibernating liver eating dude from The X-files
did not expect to see a tooms reference in the wild but i fear you are not wrong…

Bro. Easily the best episode of Xfiles. What you are on about?
Psh, there are some better ones, like Home or when they play the married couple.
Eugene Victor Tooms!
Percy Whitmore from the Green Mile?
Not to be confused with Eddie Van Blundht, unless of course, he’s shape-shifted to confuse you into thinking it wasn’t Eddie Van Blundht.
I have not really watched the X-Files in a while but happened to see this episode over the summer. That show was on another level lol
It holds up, very rewatchable
Tooms?!? Great, thanks for the nightmares.
Luigi really did set such an unrealistic beauty standard
The only way to get famous as a killer these days is to look a certain way, smh. People don't respect the craft anymore. It's all about what plays well on insta. Ted Bundy, Hot Mugshot Guy, Luigi - if you don't have a certain look, you're never going to make it big after arrest.
Right? This guy definitely pulled off a more impressive shot but everyone's thirsting on Luigi for the looks
This Tyler guy literally looks like me.
Smh
And that’s why no one followed in his footsteps… Whata shame….
Could you imagine if his name was Mario?
What if his name was Waluigi?
He looks like someone tried to draw Charlie Kirk from memory.
He looks like his face is supposed to fit on Charlie’s head while Charlie’s face is supposed to fit on his head
They were destined to find one another, but would they interlock, or would sparks fly...
Quick! Someone with photoshop superpowers, get on this!
Wow, either that’s actually a pretty insane observation, or I’m really high, or both
Charlie Kirk memorial scratch tattoo lookin motherfucker honestly.
This would've been the top comment in /r/roastme
Big faced man kills little faced man.
Kirk's face was superimposed onto a large head. It was so fucking weird.
Kirk slider
I had way too much fun with that
105% looks about right.
It’s amazing what 5% can do
I thought the same. About 105-106 is what it should be.
I was at 105 for a bit but ultimately landed on 104.
I think 107% works
Let’s see him dismantle the gun and reassemble the gun in 1 min
what happened to those texts where he was like "I definitely did everything and im the king of antifa i promise"
Yea nothing about this story checks out. Text exchange that reads like hallucinating AI prompted in olde English.
And jumping off a roof with a rifle down his pants?
No no, he disassembled the rifle in about 20 seconds and put it in his backpack. Then he jumped off the roof and reassembled the rifle' scope and all' and left it in the woods.

That whole text exchange between “him and his friend” is just odd.
“Hey I just offed a high profile figure. I used this gun, left it here, wrapped in this, and I’m gonna go back to get it. Also my automobile….”
Like it just looks… off
Can't believe we still don't have concrete evidence of his political views.
The absence of information is information in and of itself
The flip of certain high-profile individuals from screaming civil war to self-fellating about forgiveness practically overnight is what convinced me.
I'm not American so don't see as much of the spectrum as you guys but can you show me a link of people calling for forgiveness?
Comment got taken down for posting links to X, so I'll try again. Timestamps and quotes are verbatim so those messages should appear on a search engine.

I'd have to assume we would... If it fit the right narratives, lol.
On conservative subreddits I see them declaring "liberals shut up about it because he was proven to be one of theirs".
On leftist subreddits I see "conservatives dropped this because he was proven to be one of theirs".
It's been very interesting to me how those views just openly coexist.
He looks abit like him
I think he absorbed a bit of his soul
Charlie horcrux? Fuck me.

I was gonna say that he'd have to watch his back around any Trump supporters in prison, but then I remembered Trump let them all out
Most of the comments are just roasting lol
