Does anyone know what is going on at Fry's? The one at 4707 E Shea Blvd. The police are there with their mobile command, there were about 10 police cars, and there was a tent outside covering something. They have been there for hours apparently, but I don't see anything online. The store is still open and staff are saying they can't say what happened
Citezen said a homeless person walked in with wounds and was bloody. Also the crime scene vans are there so someone died rip.
Homeless fight, and dude rolled in to get help. Simple; shit happens at the Safeway by my house
Do you live at the one off 7th st? Always crazy shit happening there lol
Ave
7th and osborne has seen some crazy shit. Especially since tent city got broken up
Yo those security guards better be getting paid well, they hold shit down at that store lol
I had to call 911 like 2 weeks ago bc some dumb assess got into a gun fight in the apartment complex on 7th Ave and Osborn next to st joes. Like two people mag dumped on each other. Glad the exterior of my place is brick. Shits fucking ridiculous.
At the fancy frys?
My first guess would be heiress murder.
With a candlestick, in the foyer.
The Butler did it.
Lurch: "You Rang?"
You have selected... Regicide. If you know the name of the king or queen being murdered, press 1 now...
Seriously. I'm surprised a homeless person was even allowed near the premises. Simply absurd!
We call it the fancy fry’s but that pharmacy has been robbed at gunpoint twice
Pshh you think the heiresses actually do their own grocery shopping
Here are some resources to help you figure out what is going on in your neighborhood:
Awesome, thank you
Good bot
....thanks?
You’re obviously not a bot?
I’d like to think I’m not, but now I’m having an existential crisis just in time for Christmas
Whoever put that into your programming was cruel.
It was a joke dude
[INVALID INPUT]
Bad bot
I believe it to be crime of some sort
no way, that’s not possible
crime is expressly illegal. how could this happen?
Are those the crimes? gasp form the statistics?!
At least it’s not in Gilbert so the Gilbert PD won’t have to cover up another one.
The maniac has responded with a scornful remark
THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE ON EARTH. Didn't expect to find Noxeema on my feed this morning, but here we are. 😍🙏🎄
She appears in your life when you need her to 💅

Smitty’s :(
YES!!! This was our store growing up 🥰
Someone said their ring app suggest a body was found between the entrance and exit. Maybe a unhoused person?
I feel like you mean between the two doors, but my mind can't see "between the entrance and exit" and not think "so...inside the store?"
Cause I guess grocery stores exit in the back or something? Idk. I'm dumb.
Someone said outside between the entry and exit doors was found dead outside. Because their Ring app said they.
Getting downvoted for sharing what I found go information is a weird thing to downvote for
I don’t think you should be getting downvoted - but I don’t think anybody understands what ‘between the entrance and exit’ means lol
That doesn’t make much sense
So someone died in the perineum? I mean…..
I think you mean gooch
Or taint?
I think it means the small vestibule area in the store where you enter (and can also exit. ). Versus the other side of the store which I think is exit only.
lol I think some would refer to that as indoors. For real though I’d assume that’d be in the front where one set of doors is labeled entrance and the other exit like at target. Confusing though yes so I have no idea
Just sharing what the person said on citizen
I don't see you downvoted on my end! But maybe bc it's your comment and not mine you can see stuff I can't.
Homeless.
Unhoused. Be respectful.
But….it’s the same thing. When did saying homeless become disrespectful?
It’s the proper terminology. This is about anything else rather than used terms
Lol ok guy.
Lowkey this is why people vote trump, when homeless is being disrespectful
Seriously 😆 like, they do not have a place to live...homeless. I do not have a car, i am carless not uncar-ed lol
Unvehicled. Be respectful.
Well not my robe. If you guys want to be disrespectful
What does renaming it “unhoused” accomplish other than annoying normal people trying to have an actual discussion about real issues? Can you quantify how homelessness has improved since we rebranded it as unhousededness?
Not renaming it’s always been unhoused. Homeless was used as a derogatory term for people below you. While I don’t view them as the same I still used unhoused because not all people are the same including the homeless as you insist. So it’s really just using the proper terminology.
We’re just a lazy society and refuse to adapt to and accept these what seem like “social norms”
So you use the woke term but also view them as lesser than 🤔. The average person calls them homeless because that’s the word we used to indicate that. Stop with the word obfuscation, it’s meaningless and it’s crap like this that makes it so hard to support liberal causes.
I don’t know what happened but they were there at 9 am this morning.
Any one know who this person is?
It’s wild that all the comments are “that’s nothing xyz” but when the time comes to vote in measures that would take of the “elements” everyone is commenting on, the votes are nowhere to be found.
How did you vote on 409?
Ask for the crime scene discount. (25%, meat excluded)
Stabbing probably. Homeless people love carrying knives and shanks
sleeping in a dark alley every night would make anyone carry a knife regardless of their personal liking
Why is this getting down voted? Reddit is becoming a trash can unfortunately.
Unbelievable used to be such a nice area too
Used to be? It still is. Compare the frys at shea and tatum with the frys at Hatcher and cave creek and tell me theyre in the same ballpark. I go to both, I have hey to see one dude shoot up, get into a fist fight, try to fence clearly stolen goods and any amount of homeless on tatum
I agree but still I have seen a shockingly increasing amount of tweakera at this location and it's really worrisome
I see more than last year sure, but usually 1-2 and usually just themselves on the way to or from somewhere. They sure as shit arent hanging out by the houses on either side of Shea heading east.
There's no less than half a dozen tweakers at the Hatcher location. Not to mention all the stuff in blister packs, the metal bars to slow people down from running out of the store, the extra and very visible security etc. Hell they have cameras by the meat section. You feel like a criminal going there.
Shea and tatum has a literal fountain and living trees inside, no security etc etc.
Thats crazy they really are completely different then. Glad the shea and Tatum one is my home store
Very. This might be rare for Scottsdale, but the Hatcher frys is in the hood.
This is why I don’t shop at Fry’s. I’ve tried a few locations and they kind of all seem to have weird vibes to me.
Apparently there were Bigfoot sightings but I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not
This is a little concerning as I just moved to this area. Haven’t been into the fry’s yet because I’ve mainly been shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Sprouts but I was going to check it out for my next grocery trip.
This is WAY out of character for that area. An anomaly though. Not the new normal at all.
Yeah that’s what I thought. Just not comforting when I moved to this area and went on vacation and see this.
Phoenix is definitely a more “patchy” city though than other places I’ve been. Like one area can be super nice then like .5 miles away is really not nice.
You’ll be fine. I’ve lived here my whole life and that area is nice overall. It’s not patchy.
Stop overthinking it and overthinking the Citizen app.
Do you just live in your house 24/7?
Geez
Why did you move here if this is how you feel?
I love the Citizen App. And no, I don’t just live in my house 24/7. But when you move to what seems like a nice area then see a report of a homeless body or something being found in the grocery store that’s a little concerning and sad.
It's a nice store and nice area. I would still go there
[deleted]
Damn that’s sad
Likely a police situation. People are so nosy.
I know this is taking it to the far extreme, but I'd rather have nosy people than complacent people, especially when it comes to law enforcement and government officials. That's one area where we definitely want to keep the spotlight on lest (more) shady stuff happens under our noses.
Hard not to be curious when the police unit and multiple police cars and crime tent are directly in front of the entrance to the store.
