My car has a little i4 and a CVT, so it takes forever to heat up, and if it's cold enough it'll cool the engine right back down when you turn the heat on. I've seriously considered buying a little 12V fan with a built-in heater to stick on my cupholder for a bit of warmth. It handles great on snow, but damn it's not comfortable in the cold
Big difference is in summer you can roll down your windows right away to get rid of the hot stuffy air, but you can’t get rid of the cold dry air by rolling down your window in the winter. You are stuck until your heat really comes on. Way worse getting in your car in the winter tf. Not to mention a lot of the time you have to wipe shit off your car in the winter
Lol
You just can open doors (and/or windows) for a few minutes, and it will be ok.
But nothing can save you from winter sufferings.
I tried +30-40ºc summer and -30-40ºc winter.
As a year-round cyclist in Chicago, the performance around cold weather makes no sense to me because there's a lot of pride in living here but also a lot of whining. When im biking miles through a cold front like we're having this weekend, I would be dangerously cold if I didn't have all my gear. But then I see people put on their whole winter outfit to take out the trash that's 25 feet from the back door at my work, or they yap about how unbearable it is when they had to walk to and from their car. Not to mention they're wearing coats twice as big as mine and somehow need gloves and a scarf and a huge hat so they dont freeze before their car heats up. Like can we not be uncomfortable for a few moments and still survive?

The scream is necessary. The scream is necessary. It’s absolutely necessary every single time
I swear it makes me feel warmer

you could always buy a heated seat pads which go underneath seat covers.
Which car is this?
Honda CRV. Great car, but if you live somewhere with stupidly cold winters, you're gonna want one with heated seats!
If you’re cold, your car is cold. Bring her inside.
Heck I'd take it over getting in during summer.
Light-colored cars, you get in and it says
107°FBlack cars with a black interior, you get in and it says
Preheat 425°Fand the fucking air looks wavyAs a Texan with tinted windows, they are not joking even in the slightest.

This is why you start your car like 5-10 minutes before it’s time to leave
