Ah yes. I miss o-dark-thirty shopping. The peace of having the store almost entirely to yourself. The joy of having cashiers who know you by name (yes, they used to have actual cashiers after 8 p.m.), the ability to park without having to circle the lot 15 times and then fight someone for a parking spot and then pray they don't key your car while you're inside shopping. Those were the days.
I too have seen this in person. Was really annoying when I was trying to find someone to tell me where the napkins were. Once I figured out what was going on I quietly backed away like I stumbled upon a klan cross burning.
I have the displeasure of being in many many walmarts for my work. I'm happy to say that the average Walmart store manager is just a regular asshole that doesn't resort to this kind of gross pageantry. Dude thinks all his workers are happy to be there while he's the only one rolling out of there with a 200k paycheck. If that's a coach, then the store manager should be nipping that nonsense in the bud right now.
Ahhh...ok. I unmuted it to see what he was doing, regretted it, and just left the whole thing. This may be the most cringeworthy thing I've seen in at least a week.
That's why I would literally walk away from everyone the second this shit started. Just hid at the outer limits so I could get away easier. Or just walked out in front of him telling him "Have important things to do, gotta do them" then wonder off to do something else.
Does this guy know karaoke bars are a thing? We all sing and dance badly for fun, but there’s a time and a place and a bar with an open mic is the kind of place where what he’s doing is expected and encouraged.
The employees look like they want to kill themselves ... I have done a few stints at a few different Walmarts during bad times and the management is so out of touch ... This shit just makes everyone way more miserable then they already are knowing where they work and how little they are being paid

Oh hell no. Had a job where the manager tried this kinda nonsense. You want me to sit around for this bs. Yea give me 30 an hour and I'll sit through the ra ra crap. Anything less I walk. Walked from that and won't work for anyone that pulls this shit.
This guy is just practicing his drag routine on his poor subordinates.
I’d quit on the spot
Yeah. I watched it out of curiosity. The music/dancing(?) started and I moved out immediately.
I’m glad Walmart supports the mentally ill, but this is cringeworthy
At the risk of losing my anonymity, I still feel compelled to say how much I hate that this dude looks like me.
It's a pretty common look in people who have lost everything.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This guy learned all his business management techniques from The Office.
Dwight?
So he did this again? What a bizarre dude. I feel bad for the employees who have to watch this.
At this point it was never about hyping a Walmart shift. This was about having a captive audience to your "performative arts". Control kink.
Brilliant! ☺
Walmart used to have the “Walmart cheer” ever every start of shift when I worked there 25 years ago.
It was some stupid chant where you clapped and spelled Walmart. It was creepy at.
They still do, well at least they did before Covid stopped my stoned 3am shopping.

Nope. But if you'd stick around another 10 minutes, you might have seen them bring out the black candles and sacrifice a Target employee.
I hate that he’s going to get famous for this level of cringe
He's got a lot of career ahead of him, when Walmart fires him.
Inspirational coach for high school kids. Like those former gang members.
He gonna tell them they’re gonna end up living in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!
Nah...that's too far. They will be camping in the parking lot.
Fentanyl at work is not a bad idea after all
I'm afraid if i was actually subjected to this. it might trigger a spontaneous urge to kill myself.
Its debatable if this boosts motivation or sucks the joy of existence from you like a empty juice box.
I have a retail job. I would walk right on out. I hear they’re hiring across the street…
This does not boost motivation. Except for maybe 1% of the employees.
Maybe he should learn another song?
i'm pretty sure this is also him- so he's done at least one more https://x.com/Mappy6984/status/1987146026520625407
Be a shame if that karaoke machine were to "fall".
r/superstore
I can imagine him practicing this in his house thinking people really wanna see him performing

At least they’re on the clock???
Damn. He looks so pleased with himself at the end. Sad.
You made it to the end? You may have masochistic tendencies.
Would love to take credit my unending patience. Nope. Fast forward.

"You guys actually clapped" says a lot.

I wish I didn’t have eyes today
That’s a nice ass break room
Which the employees are only allowed to enter for five minutes before they're "late" from break.
Yikes
I worked at Walmart for 8 that’s back in the 90s and thank god I don’t remember anyone being THAT cringy!
We did have a mariachi band come play for our store manager’s birthday. But that was awesome.
Sashay away
At least they got paid to watch this. You managed to get me to watch it for free and I hate myself for it
I watched it at work so I also got paid to watch it :P
Dear Black Baby Jesus, Take your vengeance upon those abominations of performance art. /s
Not motivating, but definitely would be hard to be in a bad mood at work after watching this.
I feel it would be hard to be in a good mood after watching this
Without losing eye contact, proceeds to crank up ‘The Mob Rules’ on my phone, leaves.
Oh no…
That older dude in back on stage left murked his ass after the shift.
Wait what is the point of this lol
I think the dude in back is taking a nap lol
It is the break room after all
Oh I know im.just impressed hes doing it with all the racket and on his feet lol
I didn't realize Walmart was rockin' this kind of talent!!!
Vanilla Spice
Need a real boss to scream his name and tell him to turn that shit off right now.
He really likes kpop demon hunters

He makes us call him Denim Daddy.
He missed his calling.

It's giving bendy and the ink machine kid in the class
This is fairly harmless
