I have just added the first ballpoint pen to my small Porsche collection. A Porsche Design P'3140 Shake Pen Twist now complements the existing P'3110 and P'3135 fountain pens.
Manufactured for Porsche Design by Pelikan, the Shake Pen Twist is astonishingly small, with a total length of just 10.3 cm (for our American friends who have a little trouble with the metric system: 4 inches). Despite its sophisticated mechanics and metal body, it weighs just 33 grams and, as expected, is superbly crafted.
The shake function to “start” the ballpoint pen is both cool and funny, and it works reliably: shake once, the refill comes out and the pen is ready to write; shake again and the refill disappears again.
All in all, the P'3140 Shake Pen Twist is also an excellent writing instrument.
oh yeah i remember your post. good choice. how much did you pay for this?
60.00 euros, which is equivalent to 70.37 US dollars (plus shipping). I don't think anyone can complain about that.
I think the next pen will be the P'3130 Mikado… 😆
THATS IT HOW BRAND NEW AND THATS IT HOW here its 170 euros
Yeah, the Mikado's got a fun mech. I also like the Laser Flex, and the TecFlex is an oldie but a goody...
Anyway, thanks for sharin'!
Just bought one at auction and it arrived in the post today: beautiful!
