Hello!
I've come to this subreddit frequently in the past and made some wonderful friends through it.

There's not much to say about myself: I enjoy all media. All genres of music and I'm happy to engage with written work. Really, just garden variety without much going on.

In regards to e-mailing I find I both write an awful lot and enjoy lengthy letters back :-). Though I'm more than happy to talk to anyone of any age or origin.

About me; I'm eighteen, turning nineteen from Canada - lived my whole life. I enjoy writing and reading; the only "real" hobby I continue to do regularly! Again, a fan of most, but I gravitate towards black, and post-black metal with some punk. But I'm never picky, I like all things "art" and that includes music! My biggest resolution this year was to get into new artists and watch more movies/shows - so I'm always happy to discuss all sorts of media! I have interest in linguistics, culture, personality, true crime and so forth with a love for people in general.

If I sound at all interesting please feel free to shoot me a message - I'd love to be friends!

  • Hi 18M from Finland, I'm interested if you are. Will send you a dm introducing myself!

  • What's an example of post-black, I've never heard of that?

Hi! Post-black metal oftentimes takes influence from shoegaze or post-rock making it sound more atmospheric or folk-y than typical black metal.
An Autumn for Crippled Children/A Rose Dying In The Rain are both pretty popular!
