• aka Rainbow Six Siege in case anybody else was confused into thinking it was a new game

  • After their big update a few months ago I thought I'd give it a try for the first time in like 5 years. First match, an incredibly obvious wallhacker kills everyone on my team 3 rounds in a row.

    Yeah no thanks.

The game fucking sucks now and anyone playing is an addicted sucker. I started in 2018 or so because PUBG was down on Tuesdays so my crew played Siege instead, just for that one day. We ended up liking it so much that we pretty much played Siege full time as PUBG started to get a huge problem with chinese named hackers, ruining the game. We started playing ranked, hit platinum which was previously the 2nd highest rank. It was fun and rewarded team play. The balance patches every month were lame as shit, but whatever. There was no other game like it and it was the next best thing to search and destroy.

Of course, then Siege started getting a ton of hackers. A metric FUCK TON. They did NOTHING about smurfs in ranked, they did NOTHING about the blatant script users, they did nothing AT ALL. We all dropped it around 2021 after having at least a thousand hours each. When Siege X dropped, we gave it a shot and had the exact same experience as you. Level 10 players with 0 recoil shooting us across the map. What a fucking joke. Random recoil patterns and bloom might be annoying, but it is the ONLY counter to script kids and this is why BF6 is playable on console.

Anyone still playing Siege is an absolute sucker. Even half the streamers have dropped the game. It's been proven that at the higher elo levels, there is a 100% chance you are encountering someone cheating whether that be scripts, walls and/or aimbot. I don't understand how one can even play the game knowing that.

One of the worst hacker problems in FPS gaming.
