What’s the purpose of the club? I can’t really tell from the website that it’s a membership based restaurant that has some volunteer hosted activities once in awhile?
It is a members club. If you look at the calendar on the website you can see the sorts of activities. I mostly used it as a place with a really great bartender and a gorgeous space. Sometimes I also would bring my laptop and work from one of the smaller loungey old timey wood paneled living rooms.

I used to be a member until I recently moved out of the neighborhood. It’s got a cozy vibe even without a fireplace, and there are often candles, etc.
