Hey just a quick question I have 2 32gb DDR5 cl30 6000 gskill, I have tighten the ram timings and I was wondering if there any more decent improvements I can do I know trfc failed at 520

  • Hey!

So your Tfaw is crazy high. Try 24. You can give the memory more voltage and likely squeeze out 26-34-34-34 pretty easily out of any hynix ram which is what gskill uses afaik.

Then focus on Trfc1 try closer to 450.

  • as a fellow with similar ram 64gb (32x2) g skill dual rank.

Use hwinfo64 or something to figure out your memory chips (hynix, samsung, micron, and which die)....

that was very helpful for me as I have GSkill, 30-36....hynix A die. If you can't do below 500 TRFC I don't think it's A die.

Myself I left the TRAS and TRC near stock expo 6000.

    tfaw 32

    trrdl 8

    twtrl 16

do you need mem vpp @ 1.85? stock 1.8 no good?

vsoc seems high for 6000, try 1.2, I use 1.16

    both SCL's 5

    rdrdsd 6 / dd 6

    wrwrsd 8 / dd 8

    trdwr 16

    trtp 16

also which nitro mode are you running, or are you running it 1/2/1 works for me.

don't be playing with PBO CO's while messing with memory, lock in your MCLK / FCLK with loose timings, then tighten timings, then play with PBO.

    my 2 cents.

Being honest haven’t touched nitro mode and I do have a pbo on +200 and a custom negative curve (just added it back after adjusting ram and tested it) which u can easily get rid of that’s fine I just dropped trfcsb to 15 and lowered trfc2 to 320 and I haven’t touched voltages at all whatever it is is just my stock expo also mine is a Hynix A-die here is the whole thing (and also treat me life a dummy I have been using copilot this whole time for all of this lol) G.skill Sk Hynix f5-6000J3040G32G and I appreciate any advice

if it's A die all those I posted should work, I only have a 7800x3d in theory your IMC is better.
mine could probably go a little less here or there but I got tired of messing with it and got back to the purpose....the games.

HWinfo64, open, full mode, hit the memory chip icon, it will load up the memory timings just like Zentimings but show / verify MFG of ram chips and the die.
