Scared and curious to see these quotes. However questions that might need to be answered. How big is the bathroom? How old is the house? Are you salvaging anything? Are you running new plumbing?
Don't have today's pricing, but in 2018 I paid 13k, including new tub, toilet, vanity, tile work, exhaust fan, drywall and paint. Demo"ed an old walk-in tub for the contractor.
I did floor tile work one time as a teenager in my family's house, and vowed to never do that again. It keeps encouraging me to protect my career, as nobody would want to hire me even for the work I did back then.
This is an interesting topic. We looked at homes today and found one we liked. Only issue is the tub. We’d like to replace it with one that is a little wider. I imagine that we’d need the tub drain to move a few inches. I bet that alone would be a big expense.
Not Orlando, but my aunt spent north of $25K to get her master bath remodeled last year. I say if you can do the demo yourself you will save some $$$. This was in Melbourne.

Agreed. Moving plumbing makes a massive price difference.
Small 90s home, keeping same footprint, already had lead pipe replumb when we moved in, roughly 100sq ft. Not looking for luxury remodel or anything
Keeping the shower/tub as is?
Yes the shower/tub just needs re-tiled since it’s original to the home
Ok that’s where you’ll spend most of your money.
It varies wildly. I know someone who paid $60k. I paid 11. Theirs is much nicer and bigger but I'm fine with what I have for the price difference
About 5 years ago, I got an estimate on our very small master bath to be remodeled. Estimate came in at $22K and I cried and laughed.

i would guess my 2024 primary bathroom remodel was around the same price. however, a friend and i did 98% of the demo. 5x8 space.
i purchased toilet, shower pan, vanity, mirror, light, floor tiles, paint, exhaust fan and shower fixtures on my own.
it was not a good experience and i’m dreading the much needed remodel of my spare bath.
