Does anyone know when the Burlington, MA studio became a 'select studio'? It is not my home studio, but I have been going there for a few years occasionally on the weekends. I just went to register for a Saturday class and saw a notice that there is a $10 surcharge since it is not my home studio.
Unfortunately a bunch went up in tier over the last week… Pretty much cut my class options in half.

Thanks for the info. It looks like my home studio has a higher monthly rate than Burlington. Do you know if that means the fee would apply?
Possible that it might not. But you should call the studio to confirm!
Burlington?! Ugh I bet they change Hingham and Quincy now too
They haven’t yet, but Hanover and Kingston (same owner) have increased theirs which is just odd to me because Hingham and Quincy seem to be better studios ( more classes and variety of coaches)
ETA: as far as I know Hingham and Swampscott are owned by the same group. I don’t know Swampscott’s rates at the moment, but if theirs go up, I’d expect Hingham’s, too.
That exact scenario just happened to me. There was no up charge right before Christmas.
Waltham just went up - I think a lot of MA has from what I heard.
Waltham is my home studio. It went up to $209. Hopefully that means I don't have to pay the fee to go to the studios that are $199
Yeah I feel like you shouldn’t have to - my understanding is you would only pay if your home store is a lower tier than the one you want to go to.
