Hey Y’all—
I finally found someone at my studio who agreed to try adding my Polar H10 ANT+ ID to my account and my data popped right up. I could see my info on the big screen, however, my name wasn’t showing up on the treads or rowers to select while using. I was sure to hit “more” and scroll all the way through the list. I didn’t see it on neighboring machines either.
Anyone else using this HRM have experience with this? Are you able to sign into the treads and rowers? Is there anything I need to do in the app or at the front desk to enable this? I’d like to track my mileage and stats, but can live without if need be. Maybe a bluetooth thing?
Road cycling is my main sport, so I already have this HRM and would hate to spend another $100+ on another just for OTF.

Is this a studio that has the upgraded software on the tread/rower (kind of the new style?)
Yes, they have the updated machines with screens that you can select your name and view your HR and stats on, plus it tracks mileage and distance and syncs with your app
So that capability has been around for years. There is a recent updates (kind of a dark theme and more black and white). The rower has stroke count for example. Studios that have updated to that seem to have locked out some 3rd party HRMs. (Or more correctly they white listed their own trackers)
gotcha, sorry I’m relatively new here. yes, the rowers do have stroke count, so it’s likely the latest. my HRM is working in the room, but only showing on the big screens, just not selectable on the tread/rower itself
Ah so there is probably not a whole lot (easily) that you can do. Some 3rd party HRMs are reported to still work but the limited info suggests it is dependent on the ant+ id starting with certain digit(s).
