It does appear that they changed something, but under "preferences" near the bottom there is a beta option to unclick "Use new Reddit as my default experience."
Ahh so that's why sometimes if I access Reddit from my search engine it reverts to new instead of the default old setting. Thank you for the extension. Much appreciated!
Never trusted those options because I remember them being ignored. That's why I went and got an addon to force the redirect.
Name the add-on? If its different than the one in the sidebar, I'll add it to the list.

Old reddit works, but sometimes some links redirect me to the new reddit. So to avoid that, I have this extension which redirects me.
