Always defaults to the new reddit now unless I explicitly type old.reddit.com. I'm sure its end is coming. That will be it for me. The new reddit looks too much like IG and after 30 seconds of scrolling I always close it now.
it better not because i will genuinely start to use reddit less. not out of protest, but because its just the only layout im used to. shoot, i even used new.reddit for awhile there before they got rid of it. sh.reddit fucking sucks.

Remember to uncheck "use the new reddit as my default experience" or something in old reddit settings
When I click some links, some comment sections, it directs me to new reddit. So now I use an extension called old reddit redirect which works great. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/old-reddit-redirect/dneaehbmnbhcippjikoajpoabadpodje

you can use a extension to make it stay on old reddit
chrome : https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/old-reddit-redirect/dneaehbmnbhcippjikoajpoabadpodje
firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-reddit-redirect/
I installed it, but it still won't load reddit pages that have reddit media on them. This just keeps getting worse and worse.
I click on the comments instead of the post to see it. Does it not work like that?
Same for me. It always defaults to new reddit and I have to manually change the url to old.reddit.
Also the option to use old reddit by default is no longer available when using old reddit. New reddit shows the option but it get's ignored

still works for me, but then I use a firefox extension to force old reddit

firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-reddit-redirect/
Great!! thanks. Added to Firefox..
It works for me but not all the time. When I click some links, some comment sections, it directs me to new reddit. Now I use an extension called old reddit redirect which works great. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/old-reddit-redirect/dneaehbmnbhcippjikoajpoabadpodje
