I never bought this. House is a selfish asshole, and he's made a lot of mistakes, done a lot of bad things, but I still just don't believe that this was his fault. She didn't have to pick him up. They didn't have to take a bus. These weren't decisions House made. A taxi, they could have walked, the bus could have simply not crashed. These weren't things House orchestrated, they just happened. It always sort of annoyed/confused me the way that Wilson and House both blamed him for something he just simply had no control of. Like, sure, he could've not been out drinking, but that wasn't what caused the bus to crash, you know
it's been a while since I've seen this episode or the few ones after, but if I recall correctly Wilson eventually said he doesn't really blame House, but just used it as an excuse to cut him off.. also House could have had survivor's guilt or something if he's capable of that lol. grief and trauma work in odd ways
You are correct, I rewatched these like a couple weeks ago. Rationally, they both know it’s not House’s fault. House initially refuses to apologize to Wilson for this reason. Eventually he does anyway, and Wilson says he doesn’t blame house either. He says he looked up and down to find a way to blame house and couldn’t.
I agree with the survivor's guilt, that's certainly possible, House has made it pretty clear that he does feel stuff deep down. He just doesn't like to think about it. The guilt from what happened on that bus definitely stuck with him, even if he couldn't have done anything to prevent it in the first place
It always just annoyed me that no one ever told him it wasn't actually his fault. I can't remember what Wilson said, but the fact that he really just let his turbulent vicodin addict best friend believe that it was really his fault just never sat well with me, just because Wilson didn't want to hang out with him at the time. No one else ever talked to House about it either, I don't think, but don't quote me on that.
It was just a really odd situation from my perspective, I love Wilson but his character seemed to contradict itself depending on what mood the writers were in at the time
The episodes make it clear that it was just a streak of stuff that went BAD, but wasn't really anyone's fault.
If House didn't get wasted, Limp Bizkit wouldn't have taken his keys ans House wouldn't have called Wilson. If Wilson answered, Amber would not have come.
If they didn't take the bus, they wouldn't have been in the crash that killed Amber's kidneys. If she didn't take those flu pills, she wouldn't have had whatever was lethal in her system.
And If Wilson saw the handwritten note near her pillow she would have been found earlier. (Cannot remember if it would have saved her)
She didn't die because of House. She died because sometimes people die juste because shit happens. And, yes, it's "unfair" and "what if this or that did or didn't happen?". Life is just brutal sometimes, man.
NO BAD WORDS ON CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (not removing but you should be ashamed)
She got Wilson’s diseases that spreads sexually.
Also they cropped the original scene, you can see all 20 of Wilson’s ex wives huddled around them giving support
That's a weird way of describing the way they're encouraging her to shut up and die already
Finger is that you?
Can't believe Will's son is cucking domicile with a Wilson's disease patient
lol, Right? It's like a soap opera but with extra confusion and questionable life choices…
How the fuck cutthroat bitch managed to make me pray for her life and her death made me tear up
Is the writing this good?
They really pulled it off to make the most evil person (woman who stands in the way of male-male love) sympathetic
Her performance in that role was pretty amazing tbh.
I hated her until this episode
Cuddy gave her the hygiene drug.
i gave her the cutthroat drug
I gave her the bitch drug
I gave her the dying drug
Are you stupid?
Is she stupid? There must be a resin, sorry, reason.
Holy shit
Found out about Abode and Wills son "friendship".
Houses fault, sorta

I'd assume everyone thought talking to him about it would be useless but my man really needed it..

❌spoilers❌
season’s been out for 17 years btw
Differential diagnosis: Alzheimer, dementia, or...I forget, what are we talking about?
wtf r bro doing here if u haven't finished the story?
Yes, because she's not a vicodin addict
Not a very good doctor if she can't even stay alive...
wilson is gay and likes ethan hawke
she should’ve just tanked the flu smh my head
She did not take the hygiene drug
It’s because she took the wrong medicine drug. She should’ve taken the Vicodin drug from me instead.
They never even tried mouse bites for her either. What lazy doctoring.
Will’s son confused her for House. For that she had to die.
I don’t know how to say this but she looks like the disguises the cops used on white chicks

Say my name.
No mansion was stupid
It wasn’t living space’s fault.
Yes it was, three dimensional physical area that normal humans occupy was drunk and she had to go get him from the bar
She did not have to pick permanent shelter up from the bar. She did it because she secretly liked residence. In the end it was nobody’s fault.
No she did it because her boyfriend was him too in the hospital
What? 🤣
I wanted to do the"I too am in this episode" but English isn't my first language and I didn't know how to phrase it lol
Im pretty sure broken grammar is part of the lulz, in this sub, so it fits ?
Ahh I see ok 🤣
Some mansions are definitely stupid
House's fault for killing her
