OP yes piedmont grocery is really good! Lots of amazing toppings (steak, salmon, beans etc) and their soups are made in house and delicious as well. (Everything else is too pricey lol, we can’t do our weekly shopping here)
Occasionally, we would get stuff to make a really fancy meal from piedmont grocer. Their butcher/meat counter is fantastic. They also have a great liquor selection (and wine IIRC). Used to love finding a cool new bottle there as well:
I gave up on Mixt after finding a couple ladybug like bugs in my salad on two different occasions. So I have stopped going there even though they were my favorite salads

Mixt definitely has better tasting salad than sweetgreen for sure.
I’d eat their Cobb every day if it wasn’t so expensive

Market Hall deli has enough salad-adjacent dishes to satisfy any salad hound. Try the kale caesar.
