In addition to Mickaboo, which is great, try oakland animal services - they take birds too. Do not just give to sell to anyone, there are many bad people out there and I remember coming across someone in local Craigslist ads that wanted free birds to feed to their snake. These poor things have been through a lot of shock and deserve safety.
