Are there places he usually goes? Areas he knows better than others?
I went to middle school with him, all i know is that he woke up quite early to go to school since he lives far from all the schools hes went to.
I have no information other than that he goes to Midwood High School.
Responding for engagement. I hope he returns home soon. Sending prayers.
not likely... https://connecticut.news12.com/15-year-old-midwood-high-school-student-missing-for-over-a-week
It's been almost a week. May I kindly suggest posting in the r/newjersey sub? And/or CT?
"missing person" flair would be more appropriate than "urgent". I guess the title says it, but who knows what people filter on.
Thank you for pointing it out. I didn’t know it existed, just changed it!
i feel like its pretty urgent
I hope Jafets okay
hope he gets found safe
This is so sad. He looks so kind and innocent. I really hope they find him.

I'm going to point out that the last time I saw you do this, you threw doubt on the existence of a missing kid and even said that her classmates who were posting in the thread were probably not real. Then her body was found and you simply deleted your post without even an apology to the kids who responded to you.
Got emmmmm
I did yes, because there were so few other indications that it had happened. In that case it was tragically real and I was wrong. Here I am now seeing some other folks posting they know of the boy - posted after I posted. So I'm not disputing this given others are now corroborating, but my initial questions were legitimate as there is unfortunately an entire category of scams around missing persons. Unfortunately it also appears true that the official digital infrastructure around missing persons is very inadequate. A simple Google search should have immediately revealed official corroborating information and should be helping to share information to as many outlets as possible.
what database are you looking at and how do you know it is comprehensive?
Higher NYS missing persons. Check out NYPD. search for need media. Just Google the kid's name. Does anyone have verification of this?
you said you checked a database... which one? please link to the specific database that you searched.
Why are you so aggro? Just use Google. But here's is one I searched
And another
And I never claimed anything was comprehensive. In fact it appears the online resources are inadequate. We should have more comprehensive official sources of information because there are a lot of scams based around missing persons reports.
neither of those are comprehensive as the websites make clear.
Why are you insinuating wrongdoing in a situation like this when missing persons databases or google searches is by no means a basis to conclude anything strange is going on.
But that kid is on the criminal justice website
And I never claimed otherwise. But they are data points. So no mention there + no news reports + conflicting social media posts etc., leads to raising a fair question considering that there are lots of missing person scams.
Instead of being mad at me, what this highlights is that the existing missing persons infrastructure is inadequate and you should be calling up electeds complaining that not only is there inadequate official support, but the holes in what official sources do exist lead people to question the veracity of legitimate claims. I hope you'll make that call, and I will too.
just stop.
