• He ain't gonna wanna come here after playing under Bellamy for a year lol

This is a good result for Manly. He hasn't kicked on at Souffs, a year under Bellamy could be great before Seibs starts talking down to him.

Probably good for Melbourne too, I think if he can offer 25-30 mins of his best he is a good pick up that will suit them in 2026.

Not sure how it suits Rabbits in 2026, unless they have someone in mind for 1 year. Looking at the 30 it would need to be same position just on less money than Moale and Moale wouldn't be on heaps so doubt they are getting a game breaker in. Other position that is thin is winger with TyMunro being stood down (rightly) for foreseeable future.

2027 I can see why they went that route, prob upgrades to KK and a few others (hopefully they stay). I guess what i'm trying to say is if we have to lose Moale to get Payne Haas then so be it.

Bold to think Seibold will be there in 2027 lol.

  • Who the fuck would agree to a cucky contract like that...... Ignore flair.

wtf are you on about? Clubs will sign players mid season to finish the year, what is wrong with a one year contract to fill a hole?

Lol dude it's a joke about the eels doing the exact same thing with Pezet...

And the joke being? To make that joke your implying that the Eels did a Vicky contract but again what is wrong with the eels one year contract?

    You love your footy aye

Its a bit early to be this cooked mate.

Bro he is making fun of HIMSELF

Stop bootlicking loyalty in professional sports, there’s none. Get your money.

  • Melbourne Cucks amirite

Pass the chair over here, would ya

  • Good on him. Too many high potential players get complacent when their career has plateaued. Fighting for a bench spot had become his ceiling at South Sydney, and hopefully Craig Bellamy and a change of scenery can get something a bit more out of him.

  • Maybe he could stopover in Canberra for a game or two on his way down/back up?

  • Hopefully Bellamy can polish him up a bit before he comes to us. Would be nice.

  • Davvy Moale is set to have played his last game with South Sydney with the prop expected to join Melbourne immediately.

It is understood that South Sydney and Melbourne are in the closing stages of finalising Moale’s move. It comes as Moale in September already agreed to join Manly in 2027 on a three-year contract.

However he is going to have a Jonah Pezet-like pit-stop after deciding to play with Melbourne in 2026.

Pezet quit the Storm at the end of this season to link up with Parramatta for just 12 months before taking on a long-term deal with Brisbane from 2027.

Like the Broncos, the Sea Eagles were unable to accommodate Moale immediately despite both parties being open to the move.

Manly were unable to shift the players needed for Moale to join them in 2026.

The Storm have salary cap dispensation to sign Moale after the injury to Eliesa Katoa. Melbourne have also signed Jack Hetherington after he wasn’t offered a new deal by Newcastle.

Hetherington and Moale’s arrival will help off-set the loss of big man Nelson Asofa-Solomona who was released by the Storm.

Moale, 22, has already played 70 top grade games. Melbourne also signed Oryn Keeley from the Dolphins for 2027. The Storm requested Keeley be released by the Dolphins but so far that has been rejected.

The Storm have also re-signed second-rower Ativalu Lisati until the end of 2027.

Lisati played 14 games for the Storm this year and won the club’s rookie of the year award having joined from Penrith midway through 2024.

“I’ve really enjoyed my footy in Melbourne,” Lisati said.

“We’ve got a great group of boys, and I love coming to training every day to work hard for my teammates. I’m looking forward to making the most of my opportunities and doing everything I can to help Storm achieve more success.”

  • So we have this system because the RLPA and managers argue that players couldn't possibly move on quick notice. Yet somehow they can move immediately and lock a 2nd move in a year down the track seamlessly.

i mean, how do they manage in literally every other professional sport on earth

  • manly needed him next year

Turbos on 2.4 mil really hamstringing us

  • cuck contracts are so hot rn

  • He never really worked out for us anyway. I imagine he wanted a place in the starting lineup and he was just too far down in the pecking order. Change of scenery and trying a club that provides better opportunity was the way to go.

  • Davvy Moaloan.

  • I somehow missed the Hetherington signing. Holy shit, we may have finally found the player who causes Bellamy to have a heart attack in the coaches box.

He handled 10 years of NAS, he's used to it

  • The Storm have salary cap dispensation to sign Moale after the injury to Eliesa Katoa

fair call - hope Davvy is ready for the no-sleep overnight military log-carrying party

  • Poor bloke, slumming it for a year at the best run club in the code, while they have multiple openings in their pack.

  • It’s all coming together.

  •  These kind of deals should be named  "1 year cucktract"

  • Souths just freed up some more money for Keaon Koloamatangi

  • Wonder if Moale is the one mentioned the other day not happy about a post season spray from the coach. We've been working super hard to get rid of him.

  • Just holding Tinos spot for him

  • Anasta special?

  • Looks like the pommie prop is coming to the Rabbitohs then...

  • Damn - falling out with Wayne - we are short in the front row so hopefully we get that UK business done
