Extreme irony of the critical thinkers at r/untrustworthypoptarts just taking the OP’s word for it instead of looking at the picture.

  • I looked at that post, everyone there is so incredibly dense wtf

McDonald's also gives you two receipts lol

yep. kind of depressing. no, really depressing actually. no wonder most people cant distinguish ai from real shit, the human race is dumb as fuck

Sorry about it being overrun by softcore porn, but r/nanobanana has me scratching my head quite a bit.

  • this was one where i tried to look at the receipt and went “how is anyone reading that. i have no clue what that says” and genuinely think people say “extra 2 [cant read]” and just assumed. which.. i think is classic for that subreddit. sometimes it’s obviously a highly doubtful post or situation but people make so many assumptions about how unlikely something is or how it’s “clearly staged”.

This is the second post I’ve seen today where someone says that can read the writing in something in the background and I’m like fucking how

i mean i have no dog in this fight but i can definitely tell that it says “onion” and “pickles”

  • I love how they call the patties "slices".

To be fair, I know someone who called them because their mom always got those giant logs of hamburger meat. He never saw her make them, so he thought she cut it in slices like deli meat...

    That's cute as hell 😆

Right? The logic is there if you don't know better!

Mcdonalds would put reg meat on the receipt.

    I worked at McDonalds.

    Slice of blenderized cow XD

  • Even if it was extra patties on the receipt, all they said was the employee put them on there instead of two. So it could have gone in r/technicallythetruth.

  • McDonald’s might have misread the order too. Of the 4 McDonalds I go to only one doesn’t mess up when I select no shredded cheese on my snack wrap. The other 3 always remove the lettuce instead

I added pickles to my mcChicken and they put cheese on it instead :( lmao

  • There's another receipt under the top receipt. I'd need to see it as well.

Plus, there's no way you can read the top one.

It absolutely doesn't look like it says extra onion. The second one looks like it might say pickle, but the top one is longer than onion. Probably says like reg meat. But, again, its too blurry to see.

    Edit:

Its definitely a joke OOP was making, its most likely an employee not paying attention. Tbh, I didnt realize there was other pics in the post. So I originally didnt see them. But the post is still absolutely a joke.

  • They aren't even called patties on the receipt.

  • I did this all the time working at McDonald’s 15 years ago — 3 patties on a McDouble or I’d shove 8 nuggets into a 6 piece box. Sue me

  • If they’re American. These people are allowed to vote.

people in other countries can vote too, bud

That should scare you more, there isn’t one singular idiot containment zone. They’re out, everywhere, polluting your environment.

    Unless they’re under 18

  • McDonalds is the worst restaurant chain on Earth I don’t know why people even bother eating there.

McDonald's isn't that bad in Asia, I don't know why they mess it up so bad in the US

Less regulations and 100% focus on profit in the US results in them using very very subpar ingredients

It's not bad in the US either. Sure it's not healthy because it's not meant to be, but it's not the worst food ever. Take that up with Burger King who gave me the most spongy chicken nuggets and gave my entire family food poisoning, three times. Or Wendy's, their chicken nuggets and fries are just always old and hard or super dry.

I had a less than happy experience at Burger King one time and didn’t eat there for 20 years lol, except for Hershey pies. How you let them get you sick THREE times lol

The nuggets got us sick the first time and we didn't go there for a couple years. Then we get whoppers and something made us vomit and/or get the runs from them. We didn't go for a few months and then gave it another try. Then I didn't get sick but my younger brother was puking for a couple hours. These occurred at 3 different locations, so I'm sure Burger King is cursed.

cheap simple and abundant is my guess

Fast food isn’t that cheap, if we’re being honest

There’s tons of cheap places Church’s chicken is cheap and is way better than McDonald’s, Jack in the Box is cheap, Wendy’s is cheap there’s so many burger joints and fastfood places McDonald’s is just trash like literal sensory trash. I fucking hate that chain their food, the locations their business model their menu I would rather skip a meal than eat McDonald’s.

Daaaamn. Show us on this doll where the clown hurt you.

My entire tongue is raped every time I’ve eaten there, the atmosphere is soul crushing and the people there are generally low lives.

When I was young, McDonald's would give kids "behind the scenes" type tours of the restaurant, including seeing the kitchen and the giant walk-in freezers. Legend has it that a kid was left behind in the freezer and died.

So seriously. Did something happen to you at McDonald's?

No I just never liked it I think the closest thing I could connect to an initial bad memory was if I misbehaved my parents would threaten not to cook at home or go somewhere better and go to McDonalds instead. Or like one year it was my mom’s bday and my dad pranked my mom and promised her something fancy and stopped at McDonald’s as a joke and said here we are so it was always associated with garbage or something bad for me, and I genuinely never liked the food or atmosphere. I know its not supposed to be fancy or anything but just compared to other QSRs I just did not like it now KFC or something I love, I’m also just not a big burger person I don’t really like hamburgers that much but if I had to eat one McDonalds would be a no go I’d just refuse to eat it, refuse to subject myself to the sensory and flavor displeasure.

I see, I see. 😆 That all makes a lot of sense.

Ya know, "Five Guys" burgers is one of those hate it or love it kind of place. I LOVE it. And In-N-Out burger. So incredibly lame and overrated that it infuriates me. You said you're not into burgers. Do you have any opinion on either of those?

Popeyes much better than KFC. Do you agree?

Five guys I’m neutral on In n out never tried, as for KFC vs Popeyes, no I’m a KFC loyalist not really into Popeyes I like their Mardi Gras mustard and red beans and rice but I really like KFC’s sauces, their biscuits their mac and mashed, I like the 11 herb and spices breading I love KFC and Church’s chicken I will admit though I love Arby’s burger and Freddy’s has some good burgers too.

Oh you so it’s you, the lone person who has been keepimg church’s chicken in business!

It's safe food for my wife. That's it. I agree it all tastes gross anymore.

Safe food? What does that even mean?

It is a food she can eat consistently without worrying that the taste or texture is going to be wrong.

Thanks for an actual answer lol, although the irony is kinda funny

Except it is wrong 100% of the time its the most bland, low tier garbage every produced I can’t believe people willingly give that place their time and money because its “convenient” it isn’t the dont even have staff.

    She might be neurodivergent.

Or its some food based bdsm play they have.
