This was one of the first CDs my dad bought for his brand new, very expensive CD player for the home HiFi back in my childhood. It got a lot of play- and to this day I play it regularly. Tom Petty with and without the Heartbreakers had hit after hit both before and after this album, but this one really had no forgettable tracks, so many radio hits off it and for good reason. And the joke track where he references tape and LP listeners being given time to turn to side B... genuinely funny.
Oh I remember this one. Bought the cassette tape and it became the soundtrack to my Spring break that year. The song I had on repeat more than others was "Yer So Bad"
