"We just really need to automate some of our production to be able to keep up with demand and try and reduce some overhead costs that come with manual labour."
They're trying to automate away some of the existing jobs, not make new ones.
Unfortunately our supermarkets have raised the prices on Harraways compared to their store brands such that I expect their sales volumes will have dropped quite a lot. Pam's oats seem to have a bit more dust in the bag and maybe aren't quite as good, but if they're 25% cheaper a lot of people will go for that option.
Could be news but tagging as Kiwiana because Harraways has been around that long.
I love Harraways! Plus they aim for zero or low Glyphosate in their oats.
Good to know!
O for awesome.
I'm from Scotland. Harraways oats are the best.
I only choose Harraways for my porridge or oats. Happy to support a Dunedin company that's been around for over 150 years!
Got any of them jobs there
Unlikely...

Some Binn Inns use harrowayd as their oats, and my local one is $4.50/kilo so very cost effective
I remember collecting cards in the Harraway rolled oat packets as a kid in the 60s. Pretty sure they were from the UFO TV show.
