This is the kind of news you desperately hope for. After a month of uncertainty, it's a huge relief to hear that every single child is finally free and coming home. Thinking about those parents waiting at the school to be reunited brings a lump to my throat. The community must be overjoyed.
From the article - “Another 130 abducted Niger State pupils released, none left in captivity,” spokesman Sunday Dare said in a post on X, accompanied by a photograph showing the smiling children.
"The spokesman did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding their release."
I'm glad the kids are unharmed and safe, but why were they released? Kidnappers are not known to release hostages in return for nothing. Nigeria had better not be cow-towing to kidnappers, because it'll then never end.
Why is this country and specifically Nigeria struggling with keeping kids safe? It’s disgusting how normalized this is over there. This is like the dozenth “save the kids” campaign I’ve seen come out of Nigeria.

Glad these children are safe
Little wins man, little wins. Really sucks what’s happening over there
