context: i made a poll asking how many days were in a year, with a variety of subtly different answers. the poll itself was upvoted, & so was this comment, but my comment agreeing with them was downvoted for some reason
The important context here is that you were the OP. By endorsing one answer, you pissed off everyone else who answered differently.
If you were genuinely asking, you should ask and just see what answer you get back. By saying you think there was a correct answer, it feels more like a gotcha question.
I mean....... he could put it more tactfully, but physics does exist. We need to foster a culture where we can be nonjudgemental about our mistakes & others.
Another mystery is why people who agreed with him didn't upvote. I guess they were just faster with the down votes and it got hidden.
u/jan_Soten, the downvotes are mysterious!
The fact that your reply pointing it out was upvoted is mysterious

It looks like you forgot to switch accounts. Putting an answer to your own poll makes no sense
Rule of 1, like the rule of 4 but the first reply gets downvoted
wtf even is the rule of 1 man 😭
I made it up
Unfortunately, it is real r/ruleof1
Common Redditor mind, we can't comment anymore
"That's the answer I put too," can be simplified by upvoting.
You're not adding to the conversation. That's why you're getting downvoted.
ok, fair
That's the answer I put too
This
probably because you are the OP and that comment looks like one someone who isn't the OP would write
OMG ITS ME
