Looks like a community thing. The one with upvotes has a "found " tag too signifying theyre more "important" to that group. The person tagged first also responded.
So its likely the 2nd guy was just playing the game and got herd downvoted and the upvoted guy was upvoted for being mr prominent user
Good idea, but one problem. But the downvoted person also has a found sub, and got found aswell (I didn't think that was important context, but maybe it was after this comment). In fact, I'd say the downvoted person is MORE prominent in the community of people with found subs (although neither are anywhere near the most prominent)
I wouldnt be able to speak on it without knowing community dynamic thing. Would it be something seen as a "haha" moment to downvote the more popular one? Does this happen to him often?
If we check back in an hour, will it just be a wave of early haters and then the rest of the group participants will have him back to 0 or positive? Its not uncommon for the first wave to downvote and the 2nd to upvote
True. I have come late to a comment section to see, “why are you getting downvoted so hard?” Just to see they are well into the positive by the time I’ve arrived.
I couldn't care less around r/found... whatever but jesus the people in r/foundtheshutthefuckup are absolutely insufferable, I started getting that sub recommended and it's literally just a bunch of miserable people getting enraged over kids having fun
they didn't write "there," they wrote "here." you've just misread it bc they left out capitalization so its harder to tell where the spaces between words are. (I read it as "there" the first time too :))
u/BlueberryNotHere, the downvotes are mysterious!

Capitals?
Honestly probably started because people don't care for repetition, then others followed the herd.
Only problem is the upvoted one was the repetitive one
dang
Maybe people downvoting bc of r/found.. I've seen some people complain about bc why let people have fun?

Any sub-reddit with a curse word in it has the most insufferable people on the planet, I've visited a few
