you know its going to be a rough season when people are pining for the twins to sign a 30 year old rookie utility infielder with 50 plate appearances that couldn't hit .200.
For what the move is I like it. Gives a right handed option behind bell when he’s up has options. Had the second most hits for a rookie in the NL. Hate to see Bragg leave tho was a very good reliever. But he is a reliever in AA so not much value there.
Could be both. Sounds like they want to try keaschall out in the outfield some this year which would put Cody at 2nd. And bell has been getting worse at hitting LHP recently so this gives you a guy that can cover both OF and 1st
As a fan of both the Marlins and Twins. Wag aman was the bane of the fan bases existence he stayed on the roster way to long being unproductive for a 1st baseman
Oh baby, here's that hands on investment Tommy assured us! No half measures for this guy! I bet he's in the ticket office right now negotiating season ticket packages with the masses as we read this.
Lol half measures is going to be his right size the business legacy.
Yeah, because this move will put us over the top for a WS banner.🤣🤣🤣This wouldn't even really count as a low-wattage move by Gleeman's standards, now the front office/ownership are making cheap moves to go to fans and say, "see, look what we're doing to improve", when in fact little they've done actually improves anything.
Wow, a first baseman with a sub .680 ops. I didn't think that was possible.
Is this going to be like the early 2010s when Cuddyer was our all star with 14 home runs, and we'd regularly field teams where no one had double digit power, and also couldn't hit .220?
Ryan Fitzgerald DFA'd
Feels like a floor upgrade over Gasper. Marginal player but has options
Didnt exactly cost anything and will likely spend the time at AAA
Totally underwhelming BUT its fine as a marginal move
Can't believe we got rid of Fitzmagic
Dude is pure hustle.
Hopefully sign him to a minor league deal

Truly a trade of all time
Among all the trades, it certainly was one.
I am whelmed
Ladies and gentlemen, we got him.
Where's the emergency podcast episode.
That is certainly an acquisition. Fuck this season is gonna be bleak.
Sell the team.

Wagaman probably platoons with Larnach/Wallner vs LHP, not Bell. Wagaman was good vs LHP last year:

These are the moves a below .500 team with no direction make

So the Marlins Jose Miranda?
Miranda was better by a long shot and had a lot more potential
Keyword: was
Wagaman was never good
Soooo…the backup SS is who then? Willi Castro coming back?
That would cost money, and the Pohlads DO NOT SPEND MONEY.
As of now, Kreidler.
Holy shit you guys, the Twins acquired a right-handed corner outfielder!

Already canceled my mlb.tv sub no worries
Thanks for the reminder!
We're back!!!!!!!!
Whelm us
Poverty franchise
Now we're talking! "Ladies and gentlemen, 2026 American League MVP pauses to check notes Eric Wagaman!"
Hope you're all ready to splurge for those season tickets
Bad at offense, bad at defense, and I'm just going to assume large and slow on the basepaths. What a joke.
Nice move! That should help us win some games!
How whelmed are we, ladies and gents?
FUCK THE POHLADS
Saints games about to be lit
Go big or go home!

The pieces are in place.
