Whenever id have someone over and we'd play Tekken id let them win every 3 fights so that they would keep playing.

That's how I handle it with my six year old nephew. He's running into walls, coming in 11th place in Mario kart, and I'm over here shrugging off blue shell after blue shell. I still high five him for a fun race afterwards tho!
