I lost my work badge a couple years ago while sitting at my desk. I tore my desk apart, looked all over underneath and behind, kept looking for days. Ended up buying a new badge. A couple months later coworker was standing talking to me while I was sitting and I spun in my chair to get something out of a drawer (L shaped desk).
Spun back around and co worker pointed to the back of my chair and says “you know your badge is on your chair?” I was wearing my new badge and so was like “whut?”
I get up and my damn lost badge was hanging on the back of my chair between the back support bar and the back thin pad part. I mean, it was RIGHT THERE the whole time but I never noticed because it was not expected and kind of looked like part of the chair. So weird.
