Don't forget to throw in "leveraging AI" at least three times and promise some revolutionary framework that ends up being basic common sense repackaged with buzzwords.
Has anyone actually genuinely gotten anything of value in the past 5 years from listening to one of these "Marketing Seminars/Webinars"?
Vast majority of them seem to just be people pretending they are Steve Jobs word salading something about AI and "revolutionizing" workflows. They don't even understand what they are saying.
All the saas companies who pitchslap us have pivoted to AI and since it's a total bust they have to do a real dog and pony show to try to sell us through.
loop marketing! we teach you the revolutionary idea that some people engage with your product or service already knowing what they want so shape your message for that!
Semi-related, why is it that HubSpot seems to steal Microsoft's naming convention for AI-related tools? 2023-2024, HubSpot introduces Co-Pilot (which became Breeze Co-Pilot or something??) after Copilot already existed, and now "The Loop" is introduced when Microsoft already has Loop workspaces....
I thought I was going to one of these but ended up just getting a sweet 90% on a radio ad package (1300/month for like 450 spots across 4 stations), a free car wash for my wife, and tickets to a college basketball game.
That was an awesome little “education session” or whatever you call it. But it was also in person so they put a lot of investment into it.

Be sure to mention that marketing is changing faster than ever in this fast paced world
Unprecedented change!

Don't forget all the guest speakers that end up not contributing anything to the conversation other than a plug for their product/service.

I usually find like one thing I didn't know in webinars, and it's usually just a mundane thing they say that I'm like "Huh, never thought of that."
But besides that, they are largely useless other than marketing for that company.
There are some I go to that focus on updates. But usually it’s all the same content creation tools and updating on slight changes.
(waits patiently for AI bubble to burst)
I get so many invites or announcements to “AI webinars” that I’m completely desensitized to them whenever I see one of those words in the subject.

they both asked AI how to name them and came up with the same idea. this is also how companies are price fixing consumers today.
I just attended an AI masterclass today. The last 15 minutes was their sales pitch on a training program they have.
Don't forget the slide on 'sustainable'. It's completely irrelevant and they just like to throw the word around.

I agree, however these webinars aren’t generally for experienced marketers.
They are for decision makers who are out of the loop
