Be brave and come to Russia, will be glad to drink some beer with you and have a smalltalk, afaik there are many cheap flight connecting via Shanghai today
In except you trying to tell children how good is to be gay. Actually no one here cares about what you do in bed, just don't show this off by any reason, no matter what sex you prefer, simply don't have any publicly.
So I was born and finished school in the USSR, you may think of me as of a rather conservative man, but I would be glad to meet you, talk about life, problems, good and bad and drink some beer or whatever you prefer, milk, gin or water are okay too.
But please skip f... a Russian, shaking hands is enough, may be some friendly hugging, no further ))
Eh, not really? A homophonic person is my Russian sociology teacher that, in the middle of a lesson, unprompted, went on for thirty minutes about how morally depraved it is that gay people exist.
When I came out to my classmates, they were cool with it. Hell, a school bully tried to bully me, I just agreed with him bc I was tired, and turns out he was calling me gay. He did a complete 180 and went "Oh. Ok then, good for you" and left.
The only homophobic people are the ones in the government and the kindergartens, everyone else is chill.
And uh. Yeah, as long as you don't have the July Pride Parade, you're good to go.
Plz explain me why? Cause I got one gay in my best friends and he shares the same thoughts about showing off sexuality of any kind, I just sent him my comment and he said that it is more than okay for Reddit.
If you cannot teach children that it's ok to be gay you end up with gay male adults in sham marriages, cheating on the wives they don't love and neglecting the family they didn't want, all to please society. The sooner a child realises and accepts who they are, the healthier an adult they will be. You cannot turn kids gay any more than you can turn kids straight - people are what they are and exposing them to diversity early prevents bigotry and discomfort.
It's not about teaching children being gay is better, it's about normalisation. Simply being gay is not perverse or sexual. Love between two same sex people is the same as love between two opposite sex people. You say you don't want to see "sexuality of any kind" but heterosexuality is also sexuality.
If you're uncomfortable with PDA, then that's about PDA. Being gay has nothing to do with it. But if you're ok with seeing a heterosexual couple hold hands but not a gay couple then why? What is different about it?
Thanks for your frankly reply! You are right that no one should teach children to hate or discriminate anyone. Sexuality is not bad too, and I'm married for more than 25 years and we still have good sex. And it is okay if any couple hold hands or even triple. I just tried to say that you should not be an extremist and force any idea to absurd. Especially something intimate. And children are always the most vulnerable to any extreme ideas. That is the common view in Russia, so you won't be offended to be gay here, but it is not welcomed to show off (any kind, actually, don't burn any holy books, don't get out your genitals, this is simply annoying)
Как говорил старый британец Винстон, "Патриотизм это когда любовь к своей стране на первом месте; Национализм это когда на первом месте ненависть к другим."
Most of the Americas being a darker shade of blue is a HUGE joke. Most of us deal with water you can cook with and shower in safely but you should definitely not drink unfiltered.
Both ukrinform (Ukraine’s state owned official news agency) and the ministry of foreign affairs in Russia report 90% of people can drink tap water. In 2015 sources were saying only 3% of Russians didn’t have safe tap water. The war I assume has affected this.
It is always nuanced, although. But this is clearly a propaganda post. In Chile 99% of people have access to safe water. In China over 95% in 2020, with some of the biggest improvements of infrastructure compared to any nation in the last 5 years.
Iran, Oman, Botswana, Bulgaria, Uruguay, and many other countries around the world have safe tap water.
Even in Canada, one of the richest countries, second largest land area, 20% of the entire planets freshwater, yet tens of thousands of Indigenous people live in communities that do not have continuous access to safe tap water. They don’t even have plumbing.
And? What they are saying is still true. There are a lot more countries with safe to drink tap water than what is shown on the map. I can attest that almost all cities in Colombia have it, for example.
That’s just not true. People don’t have tap water in some occupied territories, but in main Russian territories I’m sure almost all people have tap water
Come on man, after Veritasium made a video on perfluorocarbons this became embarrassing even for normies. Microplastics entered normie collective consciousness over 7 years ago, too. And first world people are increasingly less brainwashed about pesticides considering Brazil managed to spark debate on ultra-processed foods (a Coke calorie is in fact not equal to an apple calorie), and if we were lied to about food additives, we could have been lied to about more things.
It means exactly what it states. Unfriendly. Meaning countries that have attacked Russia economically with sanctions, by supporting Ukraine, or aligning with US foreign policy.
That map of “unfriendly” is EU countries, NATO countries and their partners, whom all align under US foreign policy.
The top map also represents the world’s east vs west geopolitical state. It’s not that all the countries not shown are allied with Russia, but either against, or neutral towards the collective west (EU/NATO and its partners) although with the current state of global affairs it is almost impossible to be neutral now. As we’ve seen many “neutral” countries shift towards one side.
I'm pretty sure the Kremlin considers Moldova "unfriendly" but it isn't colored because the Kremlin also considers their puppet regime in Transnistria to be the legitimate government of all of Moldova
US water is often full of forever chemicals, microplastics, organic compounds from polluted water that can't get filtered, pesticides sometimes even heavy metals, and in the case of the Navajo nation it's even somewhat radioactive
Mate, I am Brazilian. We don't drink our own water unfiltered. Our pesticides are outdated and they're extremely lobbied for — with violence — by European chemical companies. Yes, this stuff should be tracked as should agricultural runoff, organic compound levels, microplastics, etc. and the failure to do so is an oversight from governments and the scientific community. But it might harm profits so people are muzzled. Just like with the war machine, but in this case it's silent and insidious, it's far less visible than smoke particulates or the harms of alcohol and tobacco. I shouldn't be needing to explain you this, you seem to have tertiary education lol.......
Is this ragebyte? I live in Russia and have only drunk tap water my whole life. I almost never buy bottled water. I drink at least a liter every day. I'm alive and well.
I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
It's funny that the US also has like, chemicals in their tap water? Moreover, there ARE parts of Russia with tap water culture like you USAnians, but those are federal territories and so, not considered when thinking of the whole country at the same time.
Uh-huh, it’s perfectly safe to drink tap water in Chile and Argentina, and I bet the same goes for a ton of other countries. And the water in the US is drinkable but it sucks ass.
The America bad cope is so exhausting. There is no taste of American water as there are literally thousands of completely different water sources across the country. It generally tastes fine and similar to many other western countries
Saudi Arabia better watch out
Also Costa Rica
Israel too
Good? ....... oh, and fuck you Russia.
As a Greek, fuck you back.
We don't trust enough the public services to drink tap water. We literally buy fine filters for this.
hey man if you feel better, these maps are bullshit. Love 🇷🇺☦️🇬🇷
Hey, i said fuck you Russia, not fuck you Greece.
Be brave and come to Russia, will be glad to drink some beer with you and have a smalltalk, afaik there are many cheap flight connecting via Shanghai today
I'd rather not go to a place where I would be discriminated against just because of my sexuality
Gays are friends, not food )
In except you trying to tell children how good is to be gay. Actually no one here cares about what you do in bed, just don't show this off by any reason, no matter what sex you prefer, simply don't have any publicly.

Jesus Christ this comment reeks of homophobia

You’d probably be arrested for spying and exchanged for a real criminal/spy imprisoned in the west.
we are orthodox brothers
Is it part of the orthodox teachings to kill a million men (mostly other orthodoxs)?
more like tradition, not teachings
until it's about your northern neighbors (yk who I'm talking about😁)
we don't talk about that on social media.
Hey I’m doing a bit of research, what’s your opinion of North Macedonians?
i didn't quite catch the name of that tribe you are referring to.
Would you prefer I call them Macedonians?
We call them Scopians.
Where in Greece mate?

man tf did Russia do to you?
They are terrorist state
They're just jealous.
My country is safe to drink tape water 😡
That’s because this is a propaganda post. Here’s a real map.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_access_to_clean_water#/media/File%3AShare_of_the_population_without_access_to_an_improved_water_source%2C_2020.svg
That was over 5 years ago. For many countries the numbers have significantly improved in that time.
Most of the Americas being a darker shade of blue is a HUGE joke. Most of us deal with water you can cook with and shower in safely but you should definitely not drink unfiltered.
That map includes rainwater. Packaged and delivered water.....
It's not the same at all.
This source cites India as a country with access to improved water source. I’m not sure if Indians drink straight from the tap. Do they?
Only once or twice.
When we have colleagues visiting from India they are always surprised we drink water straight from the tap.
That does not say what you think it says.
...I thought there was an explanation hidden in your comment somewhere? Can't find it, can anybody help?
Nah. Although I can explain. The map shows where drinkable water is available, not where you can drink tap water.
I.e. the map shows where a percentage of the population has access to bottled water to give an example.
Ah, alright, thanks then
Improved water source/access to clean water is very different from safe tap water.
Fair enough
In Russia is is safe to drink tap water in some places
Both ukrinform (Ukraine’s state owned official news agency) and the ministry of foreign affairs in Russia report 90% of people can drink tap water. In 2015 sources were saying only 3% of Russians didn’t have safe tap water. The war I assume has affected this.

This entire post is very ignorant.
"Propaganda post"
You literally have Z on your pfp
And? What they are saying is still true. There are a lot more countries with safe to drink tap water than what is shown on the map. I can attest that almost all cities in Colombia have it, for example.
Wound you up, serves its purpose.
What do you call this post then? How is it not propaganda?
Not in small cities, specifically in Soviet era apartments
Depending from city. It's more about specific region.
its more safe to drink in small cities than big though
In some places it is but Russia even have that problem that a large portion of thr population dont have tap water let alone it be mostly clear
That’s just not true. People don’t have tap water in some occupied territories, but in main Russian territories I’m sure almost all people have tap water
No
Yes
It's terrorists state
Ok👍
With drinkable tap water😃
I am from Pacific ocean. What the fuck is New Zealand?
Its not safe to drink tap water in Russia?
I drank tap water in Bosnia and honestly anywhere in Balkans and I am fine so this map is BS
It is safe with some rare exceptions.
It may not always taste good because of old pipes but it is not dangerous or unhealthy.
this map is bullshit, almost in every country in world tap water is safe, in Russia too
I'm Romanian and it's definitely safe to drink tap water here (unless it's a gas station in the middle of nowhere).
Singapore?
Serbian tap water is also drinkable btw
The historic enemy of the russian federation is and has always been drinkable tap water
Somaliland has incredible tap water . A terrible map indeed
You do realise that correlation does not necessarily imply causation?
i know why israel is not considered unfriendly but im insulted anyway
Taiwan is a country? -10000000 Social Credits
it is not safe to drink tap water in US. It is full of chemicals
It contains high levels of dihydrogen monoxide
Come on man, after Veritasium made a video on perfluorocarbons this became embarrassing even for normies. Microplastics entered normie collective consciousness over 7 years ago, too. Russia cucks just scared of that friendly fluoride stare.
Seems like Russia hates drinking safe tap water…
I live in Russia, everywhere here tap water is safe, that map probably is just joke or propaganda
I’ve drank the tap water in America, it is not good
My country has pretty safe tap water.
I guess NZ doesn’t exist anymore?
It's safe to drink water in the balkans. Bullshit map.
Lol uk is safe to drink the tap water?
Can u drink tap i America? I thought they used Water from lakes?
You shouldn't in vast expanses of it
Wrong
Had been to Hungary, it was safe to drink tap water.
what does Russia mean by "unfriendly"?
is it just "not approving the war" or something else?

Cool story, little tankie
Aii NAFO
that's a good thing, no one tell them
I'm pretty sure the Kremlin considers Moldova "unfriendly" but it isn't colored because the Kremlin also considers their puppet regime in Transnistria to be the legitimate government of all of Moldova
Imperialist nations have more resources, what a surprise. It's just that Russia is also an imperialist nation that got cut down to size.
There are places where it's not safe to drink tap water, what on earth? How? Why? And by the way here in Chile it is obviously safe to drink.
hurdur, falar mal da russia aqui rapidinho
Switzerland: the hell did i do?
Oh nothing, just banking, gold, natural resources, taxes, general global exploitation, all very insignificant things.
They fund and support NATO/EU. Who are enemies of Russia. Switzerland are and have been massive global players economically.
Sanctions
You cant drink tap water in spain that map is not accurate.
Yeah a lot of people are saying North American, Russian and Balkan tap water is fine and I am like "sure, Jan"
Balkan tap water is fine. North America contains many nations with variable water supplies. US Canada and Costa Rica consistently safe
US water is often full of forever chemicals, microplastics, organic compounds from polluted water that can't get filtered, pesticides sometimes even heavy metals, and in the case of the Navajo nation it's even somewhat radioactive
Yup doesn’t correlate to any actual data but yeah edgy guy online says America bad
Ok DuPont

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/pfas-found-in-nearly-half-of-americans-drinking-water/
Ok so then water in Europe, Canada, and Australia is irreversibly tainted too
Mate, I am Brazilian. We don't drink our own water unfiltered. Our pesticides are outdated and they're extremely lobbied for — with violence — by European chemical companies. Yes, this stuff should be tracked as should agricultural runoff, organic compound levels, microplastics, etc. and the failure to do so is an oversight from governments and the scientific community. its not drinkable in malaysia but i can say with certainty majority of people have water filter that can dispense hot and cold water here in Malaysia.
also you can’t consider american tap water drinkable
And you can drink tap water in most of Western Europe, but showering in it is painful and gives you broom strand hair. 😭
It’s definitely safe to drink.
Is this ragebyte? I live in Russia and have only drunk tap water my whole life. I almost never buy bottled water. I drink at least a liter every day. I'm alive and well.
Map isnt fully representitive though is it, and not entirely correct tbh (water one)
I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
I'm assuming this is according to Putin and the russian government and NOT the opinion of the average russian or russia in general.
I'm from Bulgaria and drink tap water daily.
no one has ever discovered New Zealand. It’s just a dream.
Isn't in the US really toxic tap water?
Neither did tap water it looks like.
South Chile
Singapore is unfriendly to Russia???
Its not safe to drink tap water in Hungary or Romania?
russia just jealous of us, not sure what they’re jealous of with america though
I would not drink tap water in the US, and that experience is two decades old, I cannot imagine it improved since.
It's funny that the US also has like, chemicals in their tap water? Moreover, there ARE parts of Russia with tap water culture like you USAnians, but those are federal territories and so, not considered when thinking of the whole country at the same time.
Is it safe to srink or "safe to drink"?
ThEy ArE cOnTrOlLiNg Us ThRoUgH tAp WaTeR
Tap water in the US smells like pool water.
It's safe to drink tap water in Bulgaria btw.
At some point I am glad to live in Moscow, in Moscow we have good tap water
It is not safe to drink tap water in many parts of the US.
hungary is colored wrong on both
In Russia, you can drink tap water, just not everywhere
bro it is DEFINITELY not safe to drink tap water in saudi arabia 😭💔 (i grew up there)
This is wrong.
It is save to drink tap water in the USA?
Yeah, except for occasions in certain places
Literally in almost every part of the entire country.
Nothing better than some Flint, Michigan water.
Flint is notorious because it’s a rare example of water not being safe.
Pretty sure it's more of a difference in the definition of "safe", same way as they deal with corruption by calling it lobbyism.
Safe like non toxic or safe like kidney stones after 30ies?
I’m French and Russian, what does that make me
Confused
Russian, but also french
Do you explode when you eat the Olivier salad?
Uh-huh, it’s perfectly safe to drink tap water in Chile and Argentina, and I bet the same goes for a ton of other countries. And the water in the US is drinkable but it sucks ass.
That’s because it’s a propaganda post mate.
The America bad cope is so exhausting. There is no taste of American water as there are literally thousands of completely different water sources across the country. It generally tastes fine and similar to many other western countries
Don't Americmans poison their water?
Americmans poison their water and frogs turn gay
