Almost 2 months ago, u/Silent_Amphibian_922 started showin' some fun writing instruments. These bolt-action writing instruments had either unibody barrels, or two metals would get brazed together, which looked neat.

Was able to talk with him and find out he was able to make a few, and whatcha see is the brass with white copper (copper & nickel alloy) tip and a larger design made of a Copper Chromium Zirconium alloy. It was fun to follow his process, and he was learning some stuff along with the way. For instance, one time, he mentioned what he was up to: >"I'm still busy with building a furnace for aging the chromium copper for maximum hardness. According to the internet if I do it right, it will be somewhere around the hardness of mild steel."
