  • The vibe in those places. Gotta love and hate that skin-crawling feeling

I was waiting for the lighting to change to red at any second.

Right? Or to flicker, and some silent joker to appear from that side hall without warning 😅

  • It's weird, but this was actually my introduction to liminal spaces before I even knew such a thing existed. We moved from my childhood home and into an apartment when I was 13 and we had to put the majority of our stuff in storage; it was the first time we ever used a storage unit and I remember my teen mind being both fascinated and eerily terrified of the endless corridors of white metal units and garage doors; the office was in the front of the building with wrap-around windows and every time we went there to either pay the rent or put stuff in or take out, I would wander the corridors mesmerized. I would never wander too far though, I'm embarrassed to admit that I would chicken out and go back as fast as I could. Now that I know about liminal spaces and the backrooms I'd love to still have that storage unit and wander the facility.
