omg fr, the canto 8 pierce luxcavation was so ridiculously more difficult than all the others (altho still not like, that difficult). It was easier to do the slash luxcavation with a pierce team like huh??
The problem is that I have to do this twice a week. It's irritating. I haven't lost to an XP luxcavation yet, but the frustration meant I was definitely glad to see the end of it.
The new Pierce Luxcavation can roll a tad high on turn 1, but I have defensive skills that can take that easily. Worst thing that can happen is Captain Ishmael losing a clash to their skill 1 (Blunt/Sloth), but I can cope pretty easy with it. And rolling a tad high on turn 1 is much better than the unbreakable minus coins on the monk wrath skill.
I manage to beat consistently the monks with the Bloodfiend gang + Naust and NYoshu by spamming lust res for the extra sp.
And thats kinda the thing, i needed a full team + half of them at tier IV, if i pick up any other team (tremor, full heishou, burna boyz, etc) they. get. glassed.
Also the fact that the monks can cassually erase half of your health on a unit thats resistant to blunt is kiiiinda cancer. Maybe its kinda like "manager, you are at canto 8, you should have stuff by this point, lock the fuck in"
The new Pierce Exp Lux is just like a breeze compared to what my pierce IDs had been suffering in the previous one with those Talisman Monk-thingy. Although Im a veteran and had maxed all IDs that I brought to the fight, THAT pierce one was the only stage in which I had to watch my ID got killed. Very often my Ncorp Ryoushu got magically removed from the screen from FULL HP.
Compared to that stage, this new TheThumb-theme Pierce Lux is just so easy that I have been enjoying my time torturing them with the Ncorp Duo’s combo attack.
Did you forget to level up your farming team (I know I did the first time) because that's the only way I can see the Thumb goons being harder than the Monks.
Most people(including myself) seem to share the sentiment that even going into the Thumb goons using the same level IDs when going through the Monks, the Thumb is much easier.
Bro those monk can just casually one shot a sinner with their S3 like it's a tuesday

I was worried when I saw the Soldato's, because they were rough in story mode.
But nah man they couldn't do a damn thing. All their counters and unbreakables were simply no match for STAGGER.
Monk would win two clashes and suddenly one of your sinners was dead.
