To be fair, she is kinda stuck in a hard place. She can’t actually harm Charon, or Verg is 100% gonna kill her and go do the same to the others. And even with Charon as a shield, she is clearly getting her ass handed to her on a silver plate.
Ryoshu was smart about it, saw that they couldn’t actually carry out their threat because the last time a finger was caught up in the wrath of a colored fixer didn’t end too well. That wasn’t even Roland directly all of his anger at the middle. So imagine Verg completely directing his wrath at the Thumb or the house of spiders
I don’t know if slighting Vergilius is really comparable to slighting Roland. I don’t even mean in like a powerscaling sense or anything, just in the fact that Vergilius is an incredibly passive individual and Roland is an insane crashout. I mean, what Roland did to the Middle was in retaliation for the death of his wife- and they straight up didn’t do that shit. If it was (pre library)Roland in the place of Vergilius, he never would’ve joined Limbus in the first place because he’d be crashing tf out. If someone used his wife- perhaps his unborn child would be more comparable in this instance- as a hostage like that, he’d definitely destroy the whole organization, and maybe go after the Index just for proximity on the hand.
He would not be as savage as Roland but his ego gift is perfect with multiple enemies as it gets stronger with more blood, so his rampage would still be a pain to deal with
However, given how much Vergilius cares about Charon, killing her might lead to a Roland sized crash out by one of the most calculating Color Fixers. His would be a cold fury, striking where it's most optimal and leaving nothing in his wake
I mean, killing the entire orphanage didn't make him crash out against the Ring. Verga would probably do some nasty shit if Charon got killed now, but after Leviathan his main goal is creating a new world, and he's more concerned about that.
Iori with the help of tommerry was to blame for the orphanage iirc. Verg's beef with the ring is for the deaths of garnet and some of his office crew. I dunno if Verg blames the ring for most of his office's death or he harbors resentment with the taboo hunters for it.
Pretty sure that's because unlike Roland, he didn't lose everything. He's still got Charon, and Garnet (sort of). He still has something to be sane for. If his last remaining link to sanity is taken he's gonna have a Roland crash out.
Valencina the Thumb fraud:
- Alcoholic, probably has liver cirrhosis
- Master/Founder of Palermitan sword style but can’t even properly stall Vergilius without a hostage
- Relies on a busted relic to even match the power of a colour fixer
- Give me alcohol, give me street tiers, give me children to abuse or I retire
- 0 Clash Wins, 0 Kills, 7 Backhands given
Unless you're talking about the outis id story (which i have not read), those soldiers weren't udjat they were the regular squad (no eye symbol on them)
MY CLASH POWER
MY DAMAGE

Verg even calls her bluff. Like, 'Yeah, sure, can't really try to kill you that much. I get it. Lucio, though...
You value him? I don't."
My face the moment she sends him to the colour fixer

She tried to pulled a “We aren’t so different you and I” and Verg shut her down.

Ryoshu doesn't care lololol

Yeah, they should've left the Ring do that part.
Verg already wants to kill them, might as well MAKE them kill them. They do have beef with each other.

Ring kidnapped the rest of his children to use in an experiment for refracting. Charon was the only survivor.
Oh right, the few survivors were kidnapped by the ring. The old memory bank missed a few details

Not really. Vergil manifested EGO when he thought he lost everything. He'd probably have a harder time doing that if he knew Charon is alive.
Ryoshu: Simply get gud

(I still love her character tho)
She's just being lore accurate mafioso, relies heavily on intimidation, threat, and murder with plausible deniability.
Mafia goons are usually vulnerable to pissed off protagonist, have you seen Mafia 2?
You have to give her praise. While the other fathers are bullying udjat fodder and researchers, she’s in there with a color fixer. Goated.
Unless you're talking about the outis id story (which i have not read), those soldiers weren't udjat they were the regular squad (no eye symbol on them)
Oh nice. I thought they were there as a hype tool.
Even better, from her voicelines it implies that he's star of the city and that they even killed him
"Once, a terrifying officer of a Finger and a star of the city... Now, nothing but an embarrassing has-been."
The story does say he got away. If anything, Outis just insults him for being washed.
True tho, technically she took the hardest part of the job
she took verg HARD sword. Im surprise she is still standing.
Dude...
