Of everything you have, what’s your favorite?
For me it’s a toss up between my m1 carbine and my SP5.
The SP5 had an HK collapsible stock and an OCL lithium suppressor.
My m1 is a 43 Saginaw. And it never got sent in for upgrades so it has the flip up sights and no bayonet lug. It’s damn near in perfect condition too.

I absolutely love my Fallout: New Vegas All American build. One of my dream guns from my favorite video game.
Built it myself in my garage over a summer, all hand picked parts so that I could get as close as possible to the game. Painted in my backyard, took over 8 hours.
Half the fun was figuring out how to paint match the camo pattern, I even tried to mimic the color placement 1:1 where I could using a blurry photo. Plus tracking down all the out of production parts was a challenge. Lots of detail and love went into both the game and my clone.
Never going to sell this one.
I dig it. Acog all the way!
This is cooler than literally any other gun on the sub. Unless you have a plasma pistol tucked in your waistband.
Oh man I love this. Very very nice.
I wish I could post comments this long with photos. Maybe I should try on PC...

Surprised it took this long lol

Definitely my Westley-Richards Gold Name side by side. It's the only gun I inherited, and also there's just nothing like a best quality English double.

Not even my longest shotgun!
Izzat for when you absolutely need to get a smoothbore slug yeeted into the next county? (ETA 'next')
I think the theory back in the day was it would give your shot a better pattern but that’s objectively not true. Swings pretty smooth though, for a pump gun.
I don't know why, but the m1 carbine is such a sexy carbine. It's definitely something I want to save up for in the future.
Other than that, the browning BLR also looks nice. I wish the takedown version had other colour options though
It’s such a fun rifle to shoot too. I’m so lucky to have found this one. I’ll never get rid of it
Gotta be my No.1 MkIII Lee-Enfield. The action is just so smooth it's an absolute pleasure to shoot.
That’s the next Milsurp I’ll be getting!
I can't recommend it more. Ammo can be hard to find in stores so I usually go online, a little pricey but not too expensive, I think I spent around $0.70 per round last time I bought some. Some rifles can have issues with higher grain ammo though. I got some tumble when I tried 180 gr, but if load 150, it shoots straight and true. You might have to experiment to find out what round works best with your gun.
Why not get the ishapor? Its a Enfield in 308
Because SMLE is sexy asf.
Cause it's cooler to shoot an authentic 1914 example of my favorite rifle.
Fellow No.1 Mk.3 SMLE owner here. Is the ammo expensive? Yes. Are there technically better actions out there? Sure, maybe. But is the SMLE one of the sexiest early 20th century battle rifle besides the Garand? You bet your ass it is.
Oh I love those, that full length wood stock to the very tippy top of the barrel is awesome

Definitely my Garand, followed by my M1A.
A man of Culture I see.
Tony Ben has my M1a right now doing some accurization. I’m trying to make it a consistent 1MOA rifle
This has to be near the top. Build in progress.

Nice one!
Ruger PC Charger. I love packing that thing up in a pistol bag and taking it anywhere while being to beat TF out of targets at 100 yrds.

Whatever that thing is. I like it.
My 1981 Colt Python. My grandfather (who wasn’t a gun guy) bought it for my dad, who cherished it until he passed. Easily one of the most sentimental items I own, plus it’s a bad ass gun in its own right.
Hello fellow Python owner!
My early 90s version. In the family also.

Howdy! Yours is gorgeous! Since We’re showing off, I fished mine out of the safe for a quick pic. Talk to me about the rail on yours. I don’t plan on making any modifications to mine, but I’m still curious how you like it.

Thank you, so is yours!
I don't know anything about the rail, sorry. The red dot and rail have been on there 20yrs easily. I took a couple pics for you, but I don't think it reveals anything.

Probably my Browning BPS 12 ga. It's the first gun I have ever owned that's not right handed, since I shoot long guns left handed. Next best would be one of my pistols, either the full size M&P 9 or the Shield 9.
Do you shoot pistols with your right hand?
Yes. I'm cross eye dominant and just hold my pistol where I can aim with my left eye.
I can't really decide between my 590A1 and my M70
I bought a used Ruger sp101 chambered in ,357 about 3 months ago, I disassembled it, polished the action and updated the springs and trigger. All I can say is WOW! I've owned about 2 dozen firearms both long arms and pistols, even had a S&W 357 revolver. I gifted my collection to my kids and didn't expect to buy any more. But I had wanted a Ruger and found one for the right price, damn if I didn't feel an itch! Got to looking for a carbine in.357 found the Marlin spl lever action. I opened up a brand new rifle and took a file, some sandpaper and polished the innards, WOW, I have found my forever rifle!
A JM stamped marlin 1894 was my first rifle and still probably my fav. I started learning to hunt whitetail last year and now I want to take one with the marlin
I also want an SPL, but cannot bring myself to shell out that kind of money 😩
Definitely my M1A tanker. I love shooting fireballs and I love wood furniture. One day soon I'll pay someone to throw the Sadlak rail I've got onto it so I can add an optic.
Maybe even further in the future, when I don't live in a restrictive state I'll send it to Fulton for an EBR conversion.
Installing those mounts is a super easy process! You can do it at home no issue.
I put one on my M1a standard and it’s been welling great since. Right now I’m having Tony Ben do a bunch of upgrades to that rifle so hopefully make it a 1 MOA Rifle. I love that thing
I don’t have many, but my P-01 is my favorite.

12.5" SBR with tucked titanium suppressor. I can do a parts list if needed, but it's my do-all gun, and the suppressor is especially good and unobtrusive so it's a quiet, calm thing to shoot.
https://preview.redd.it/n45b6s5vps9g1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b87d7ea9e94d1b97da7bf61a1ba4ff047d7c812d
(Purple means 55 gr mag, so this is at an under-200-yd range day, because cheaper ammo)
Wha suppressor do you have on there?
AB Raptor 4 with the reflex. Just before cleaning the other day:

I was in the 82nd and the M1A1 is my white whale for historical firearms. Since they cost 3k+ for one with ANY period parts, my tuned LWRC DI with my Rock 5.7 taking an easy second right now.
I'm going to be an asshole here and brag.

My No.4 MK I <3
I’d say my AR10
Out of the guns I own, probably my .22 Sig 1911 or the first ar-15 I built. Out of the guns I'll own eventually, my dad's SKS lol. I put that thing above everything
I love my RIS3 Mk18, but nothing will surpass my DDM4V7 SLW is my first love. The first time I shot it at my local range nothing else mattered I had to get my hands on it
The one I'm shooting at the time. That list includes:
1943 1903A3 x 2
1942 Garand
1943 Remington 1911A1
Vz. 61 pistol
Ruger 22/45 Mark I
Pietta 1851 Navy revolver (black powder reproduction) 1900's SxS 12 gauge coach gun Henry .357 lever action (rifle and mare's leg)
Ruger PCC is, but my new little browning buck mark micro bull is quickly overtaking it. Once it got broken in it’s like shooting a stick of butter
BWAHAHAHA! Did I get you addicted to my Ruger, D-man?
Yesssssss
Definitely, unequivocally, my Hellion rifle from Springfield Armory. Went to the range again today and put out some 223 just because I wanted to see the difference since the rifle is chambered in 556. Felt amazing. I love this thing so much.

Oonta goota Solo?
Escort bulltac 12 gauge.
People will talk shit about "cheap Turkish shotguns." Maybe there's something to that and either Escort in general or the one I bought in particular is an exception, but it fun as hell to shoot and had never misfed on me.
I concur on shotguns. First time I took my A300UP to the range was the most fun I've had in years.
K31 swiss, it was my first, and I have gotten more for different roles but haven't liked any of them more.
I’ve got one, too. Never shot it though. It has counting marks carved in the stock. Have you removed the butt plate to see if there’s a tag behind it?
I have not, might need to look into that.
It's a joy to shoot, I can't find another trigger I like more.
It would be hard to pick a favorite but I do like my EDC.
https://preview.redd.it/gxsvuat4ts9g1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=62af2a068b893a4bf40cc1b50f0dd28a21644242
Agree I love my M1 Carbine.
Hard choice. I'll go with mid-90s Colt Double Eagle in .45.
Kinda rare, smooth & shoots great. DA and no safety.
https://preview.redd.it/mfp7z8kb2t9g1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92e830a769800badf394f44c5074ceb14a6a930e
Oughtta be smooth with that comp & and all that steel mass.
I kinda regret not buying one of those when it came through the gunshop where I used to work.
You can still find them on gunbroker or elsewhere. They're selling in the $1-1500 range. Steep but not crazy esp compared to other things.
I do blame this thing though for my love of DA pistols! 🤣

9mm and .45. Both DA. Has ambi safety and de-cocker.
My M1 Garand can't shoot it well as I'm not a big guy where it counts but it's to cool to own. It also has manufacturing date matching my birthday so it was meant to be

I’m loving my polytech M14/M1a the best right now, but I also like my somewhat customized SKS, and my S&W Model 59 is always fun to shoot.
my longboi AR

At the moment probably my Glock, it’s nothing special just a stock 19.5, but it represents the work that went into getting my pistol permit (NY) so it’s quite special to me. I’m sure eventually I’ll inherit my dad’s duty revolvers/pistol and the 1911 he built, and those will be heirlooms as well.
https://preview.redd.it/ouyozz7ymv9g1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e62976e508b7b14932e9c1010c9c0600a53e302
70’s version Ted Williams Special, Sears Roebuck model 53 in 30-06 inherited from my dad who passed last year. Took my first deer ever with it in October. Spent today dialing it even better.
1980 Marlin 375. Chambered in 375 Winchester it's frame size is between the Marlin 336 and 444/1895. Only firearm Marlin made on that frame size and is very well balanced with big power boost over the 30-30 and 35 Rem. in the 336.
https://preview.redd.it/awhxhp0mss9g1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=759ad03cb75c51f11812cf7e7b5f15398be1b357
I really love my model 17-4. A K-frame in 22lr? Zero recoil. My only complaint is I bought mine used and theres a crack on the one grip.
1942 K31. I was lucky enough to also get some surplus GP11 ammo for it.
I can’t explain why, but it’s definitely my Smith & Wesson 9mm FPC.
If I’m going to the range, it’s going with me. I giggle like a schoolgirl every time I shoot it.
Damn and here I am trying to sell my Saginaw M1 carbine. Basically just sits in my safe.
My favorite though is probably my 1917 1911 with US. Army roll mark I got from my grandfather.
My Uberti 1866 in .45 Long Colt. Dead nuts accurate, low recoil, and purty…
I wish I owned some cool old stuff. At this point my favorite is my S&W FPC 9mm. Such a great shooting setup.
The m1 carbine is a grail gun for me! I’ve shot maybe 3 rounds through one and loved it as much as I thought I would
Tie between my smith 1911sc and my SBR MK18.

I really love my 870 Marine Magnum. Then my Aero Build, and last the 930 Security. For the cheapest 930, it really has ran smoothly.
Probably my kitchen sink 300 BLK SBR. Been tinkering on it forever.
https://old.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/1pio6zt/two_stamp_tuesday_i_am_done_tinkering_with_this/
My M1 carbine is my favorite, but I'm the lucky unlucky type. I got a Marlin barrel, which is rare, but it has no accuracy and may not even be shot-out because the Marlin barrels are rare bc they just sucked. I love shooting it, but it can't stay anywhere close to a 3" circle at 15 yards...
I just got a beautiful Remington 870 Express in 12ga and I am sneaking away to shoot clays every week. I’m addicted.
My M1A is probably my favorite, but my 1982 Mini 14 gets used the most. My desert eagle is another I absolutely love.
I agree with OP. My carbine is hands down my favorite. Technically it's still mine. I bought it for my son when he turned 16. He recently turned 18, but we haven't transferred it over yet. So still MINE!!! Shit, now I'll have to buy another.

1983 Browning Citori. First gun I ever owned, inherited from my great uncle. Will be in the family forever.

Universal Firearms M1 Carbine that I inherited from my grandfather. Was the first gun I learned how to take apart and clean, and the first gun I shot. It's nothing super special besides it's the model before they started to cheap out on parts so it's all "milspec". Universal gets a ton of hate, but I absolutely love it. Have had it for over 20 years, have put a ton of rounds through it, and have never had an issue with it.
