Picked up a Holosun EPS carry a few weeks ago, and took my slide to get cut to a local guy, friend of a friend, and had him cerakote it right away while he had it, now time to hit the range with it, Sunday probably.
The guy that did it said he'll fix it, so I'll be sending it back to him, I contemplated just doing it myself on my buddies mill, but for what it'd cost me to buy a helicoil set, and hopefully be able to extract what's left of the screws, it wouldn't be worth it. Realistically helicoil is the only fix here.
I am not unhappy with the DPP micro, i was just considering moving it over to my glock 44 to try. If it works then I have to have something else for the 43. I got a screaming deal on the micro, it was $200.
Nice! Remember that thread-locker and that torque!
Have fun shooting. 🤠👍

Yeahhh... Didn't help 😅
Oh noes! ☠️❤️
Did the screws shear off or something?
Yeah, I'm at a loss as to how honestly, it looks like it pulled the threads out with it when they broke too.

Yup! Sure did.
Now you need a total re-tap for those threads.
Next time use the Glock Store. I know they’re MAGA jerks, but the service they offer for optic conversion works well, and is consistently good.
Probably don’t send to that guy again. He kinda butchered your slide; the machining/tooling marks are pretty rough and obvious.

Yeah. I’ve seen screws shear off before, so it can happen. Always sucks to see it occur.
How much was the cut and cerakote? I have a Leupold Deltapoint Micro dovetail mount RDS on my 43, but i really like the EPS on yours.
I paid $140 total for both
That's reasonable as can be! I may have to swap out.
I have used your exact set up. Eventually switched back to irons because the battery hanging off the back interfered with my draw.
