I put in work to coordinate all of my "gift card" giving family members to get me BassPro/Cabela's gift cards for Christmas. They ended up subsidizing my new toy purchase today! Have been wanting an Ultima Patrol for months now. Can't wait to shoot it!

Como se dice “merry Christmas, you filthy animal?”
My reaction 😂😂😂
Sick boomstick. This is on my list.

Congrats, now put a dot on it
I second that
Wait until you shoot it. I ended up preferring my 1301 with irons. I was surprised
I mounted a cheap Feyachi sight on my Dickinson Marine and so far, it's taken the rough ride and holds the adjustment just fine. Since it's a cheapo shotgun, it would make no sense for me to spend a ton on add-ons for it.
I’ve only ever used irons for trap and skeet. At some point I’ll have to try a dot.
Very nice! Just bought the Mossberg 590S w/Magpul stock/Holosun red dot. But now i’m jealous! 😂
I'm planning on buying a Mav 88 with the tactical and field barrel next since I learned the barrel on the UP is too short for some of th clay/trap clubs near me 😂 it's $300 for th Mav 88, or $500 for a longer barrel from Beretta that fits the UP. Easy decision to me
Nice!! I’ve got around $400 in gift cards and another $300 in points on my Cabela’s credit card…getting closer!!
that's the one...well done.
when disassembling, if you pull the trigger, you will need to drop the trigger pack to get everything back together. not a big deal and simple to do, just... fyi.
you could ask me how I know this, I suppose...
I think these are reallyyyy cool, but I kinda wanna be boujee and get the 1301 instead😅?
The Patrol checked all my boxes and is more tactical shotgun than I'll ever need. I truly don't think you can beat the value of the UP. Especially when I got it for like $840 out the door. 1301 is definitely cool if you've got the extra spending money
$840 out the door is crazy! May i ask how you got it for that low?
EMS discount as a paramedic is 5% off firearms, and then had a few hundred dollars in bass pro gift cards that I got for Christmas. So, it was still essentially the regular $1049 price, but I'm only out $840 after discounts and gift cards.
It's hard to get civilian UP's with the swapable choke for that cheap, but you can 100% find one of the LE model shotguns w/o a choke on Gun Deals for around $800 online. PSA just had the civilian model for $799 shipped to a dealer on Christmas sale.
I got one of those earlier this month. I'm looking forward to putting some rounds through it.
For breaking it in, I recommend running around 100+ rounds of high-brass game rounds before you start loading up real, tactical buck, or slugs, or anything like that.
What does it break in?
"Breaking in" refers to the process of using a new firearm to allow its internal moving parts to wear against each other, smoothing out rough edges from manufacturing and ensuring reliable operation. This period helps to prevent malfunctions, such as jams or failure to cycle, by "seating" the internal components.
Very nice. I’m thinking an A300 Ultima is my next firearm purchase.
Nice!
Noice! I just picked up an A330 patrol meself.
Great choice
That is a sexy piece.
Age me. SHA-WING!
Got mine last year and I love it
Nice!
Hell yeah
Don’t shoot your eye out!
Very good choice.
Beretta shotgun?! Nice!
Now we're talking. For home defense, that's about the best type of weapon. I've been primarily a shotgunner for ages. No matter what fun handguns or rifles I get, if it all hits the fan, I reach for the shotgun 1st. I've been really enjoying my most recent acquisition: a bullpup 12-g, with the extended mags. She kicks like a mule, but it's accurate, penetrating, raw power. The one you're showcasing here is the ultimate high-end, super reliable classic. You take care of it, and it'll take care of you. 🙂
Edit: correcting autocorrect
I’m between this or an AR15. I have neither but I want both. Which to get first lmao
I was in a similar boat until today lol. I'm in an apartment, so realistically, I think the shotgun is the best for home defense with reduced chance of overshooting and hitting my neighbor in their apartment. 12g is also super common, so in the SHTF scenario everyone talks about, I'm not worried about not finding 12g shells.
I think a fun 12g is more of a hoot to go to the range with than an AR as well.
I think also loading a 12 gauge is fun compared to loading a mag
Oh for sure. Hitting the breech release button also slides the action shut with an extremely satisfying "thunk". Not quite pump action satisfying, but still extremely good
Get the pro lift gate too
Sweettttt
You’ll love it, and I’d highly recommend a strike industries hand guard.
Nice, want.
Nice 💯
I just looked up the price. Gah dam!
I was going to add it to my list as I was looking for a semi auto 12ga, but nevermind lmao. That’s nice af though!
With my accumulated gift cards and EMS discount, I got mine for $844 out the door
$884 is a lot better esp OTD.
Apparently the Turkish knockoffs are getting pretty legit. The beretta’s are still better but in terms of bang for your buck the Turkish guns are fantastic.
You have any models for me to reference?
How will you attach the bayonet?
So, funny you bring that up. My uncle found a WWII era bayonet that he is giving to me. My first thought when he told me about it over Christmas was "how can I attach it to the shotgun I'm going to buy in a few days"
So I fully intend on finding a way to attach a bayonet with some antifa history behind it
Update when you do, I’m interested!
That's the one I want! My jealousy knows no bounds... mostly because I'm in IL and I'd be limited to the 5 round version.
That's a nice gun but my friend was gifted a bespoke Holland and Holland Royal model that was made for his grandfather - has to be worth $30K. Nicest gun I've ever held.
