Lmao I'm nearly 40 and I still have a scar on my hand from doing the same. We used to scrape the powder out of the caps into a pile and whack it with a hammer.
I really want an old school cap gun. The new ones just aren't nearly as good. I will occasionally see one in a really rural general store that looks like it's been there since I was a kid and just wish you could still easily get the better style of caps that come on a roll
Shit this threw me back to buying one from the drugstore my grandma worked at in small town Iowa. Good times, those old cap guns were fun as hell as a kid lol
I can smell those caps.
Yeah the rest were smashed on the curb with rocks…
Oh man, i could never keep those rolls for the gun. So many tack hammers with gunpowder and paper embedded in the head.

Terrible trigger discipline. SMH my head 😤
Well it was like 1975. That’s was not as much a thing as it is now…
I too am a liberal fun owner.
Here's one from late 80s with some Army Gear toys.
That's awesome
I think i might have had that exact set. Is that the Lone Ranger mask and gun belt? God, i miss those old cap guns. So much fun.
