That is an awesome set! I have yet to replace the pieces that broke or went missing and it would be awesome to rebuild! As I remember, that model took me 2 to 3 hours to build
I just got two of the tires and three of the wheel hubs (of which, only one is usable) for one in a lot of old LEGO pieces from my grandpa's estate this week.
I had this set, years ago. I never noticed it before, but the shock absorbers pictured on the box are constructed of multiple pieces with a spring over them, while the set actually has the single piece shocks.

Ohhh this was my first Technic set. Got it for xmas one year.

Oh yeah, I loved that one so much! I always wanted to give it a body, but didn't have the parts to do it back then.
