  • Hey I'm still very new so I might be wrong but in words where its supposed to use Tanween, it just uses noon. I tried Kitaban and it just transliterated to كِتَبَن

    thanks for your comment! you should try "kitaabaa" to get "كِتَابَا" because tanwin is on the letter "ب" that is pronounced as "noon" but it's not spelled.

    So "b + a" is ba with fat7a = بَ

    and "b + a + a" is baa with fathatan = بَا

    parent root
