He is good enough for a bottom 5 LEC team, the question is whether he lowers his salary expectation enough or if those teams already have ERL prospects they are eyeing.

I think this is why they mutually cancelled the contract. So Oscar has a better chance of getting a spot somewhere else and so teams don't have to 'buy out' his Fnatic contract. He probably already has interest by teams but they find his current salary too high. And Fnatic are more than happy to get rid of him because they know they ain't getting a buyout for him.
A big reason of why FNC kept him is that he was on almost min salary the entire time.
He's good enough to land an LEC team again, not like he was the literal worst top and he has been high-end some splits. I'm honestly a bit surprised both him and Carlsen ended up teamless.

Yeah it's interesting because he's still on the FNC books for another year according to the GCD. So either he collects a (lesser) wage for a year or a transfer is planned. Yeah I don't hate replacing him, just want to make sure people don't rewrite history. He's had games where he gapped Bin in lane, but he also has games where he loses to bottom 2 lec tops for some reason

I dont get all the hate. It's clear by now there's systematic issues wrll beyond the players, and while I don't think he's the best top laner around I think it's also clear he's had some solid potential that could've amounted to way more.
I think it was fun to watch with him around, and I'm happy we could go a few years eith some recognisable faces instead of yet another failing roster swap every single year.

He replaced Wunder and was a volatile player. People have been waiting to send him hate for ages. It doesn't help that he got an extension in hopes he breaks his glass ceiling then actually got worse.
Basically just the third year wasn’t really worth it.
And let's not pretend like he had no potential all this time and didn't show up now and then despite the aituation. FNC just had a style to drop top lane nearly every game and play around bot, which didn't get them far either.

Blaming him for that series is genuinely insane. In the last game his jungler and support threw the game by themselves three separate times, and then his adc also got caught recalling on a ward. But I guess the real problem was that a Renekton wasn't carrying hard enough by himself.

Razork was Fnatic's worst player for the entirety of 2025. In 2024 it was Noah for a while, and then when he started playing well again it was Humanoid who was inting. The main problem was never Oscarinin.
